anybody know where I can pick up an empty beer keg for the low low? I'm trying to gather up the equipment to start brewing and an old keg is about the best thing I've seen so far to cook in. |

Deadduck, I used to use an old lobster boiler. That is basically a 5 gallon stew pot. Works great, and is easy to keep clean. Worked like a champ! I haven't brewed beer in a couple of years. I need to get back into it. My first bit of advice would be to forgo bottling, and take up kegging your brew... Bottling is a hugemongous pain in the butt. You can pick up soda kegs fairly cheap. HAPPY BREWING! |

Raty, I'm gonna be doing full grain brews which requires a 7 gallon boil for a 5 gallon batch. An old keg would allow me to do up to a 10 gallon batch size. i found some old soda kegs on craigslist for 10 bucks each so I'll be picking up a few of those as well. They'll needd to be rebuilt, but shouldn't be any problem. Jim, what does this guy need a visit for? |

Ok if that shirt gets printed, I want one! Even though I won't be able to make it. Dillon Clay is the name of the person I just got screwed by on Ebay! My fault for buying used tires, but the add said a maximum of 12 laps with 90% tread left. They got here with 30% left and a minimum of 12 laps, more like a whole race weekend. I contacted him, he said send pictures to (an email he gave me) which was non exsistant. Tries calling him 6 more times and he wouldn't answer. Went throug PayPal Resolution. They approved and somehow or another it was criss crossed in shipping and they have denied because of false shipping. I have all email from UPS, even the one that was required for him to sign to accept the tires in return. He still won't answer the phone. So I have gone from 100 tires that I could have used for burnouts, to 200 dollars and nothing! |

Yep, that's Dennis' friend Darryl selling my Buell. Kinda impressed it's got a $4K bid so far. I will have another, just biding my time until I can find a S1. OT: Paul here at the shop has a pair of Dianese boots for sale. They aren't even broke in and look new out of the box. All black size 11 or 11 1/2 gotta check to be sure. First $250 obo take them. Not even a scuff on either boot. Wish I had the money. |

Jim, Sorry to here that, the next time your looking for some take offs PM me. I can get Bridgestone race DOT take offs for about $100-150 a set that aren't shreded, lol! $100 for 20 lap take offs $150 for 10 lap take offs In other words these won't be my race take offs, I'm a poor privateer racer I use every bit a rubber that I can and when I'm done with them their egg shaped. |

Charlie, I hope you read this before you leave. I will be at Buelltoberfest! Due to technical difficulties beyond my control, I will be the a55hat on the V-Rod. I do have said bottle, but it only has about 1/3 of the contents left in it - OOPS! It's already loaded up on the V-Rod with the prerequisite cubes o' sugar. I will be staying with Buellish at his buddies place right across from C3 central. I will be leaving after work tomorrow, prolly flea bag it tomorrow night somewhere between here and there, and should roll into Suches sometime Saturday. But Saturday night - IT'S ON! See everyone in Suches! 1313 |
