LOL!!! Where do you get this stuff Doug?!!! I'll try very hard, but it doesn't look promising for me. Where do I start....an order for the Cayman Islands due at Port Everglades by Friday at noon, an order for Jordan/Iraq (yes, Iraq) due in Jacksonville by Monday at 4:00 PM, yada, yada, yada. I'm buried. |

I found out my boss is coming in from out of town this afternoon and may want to have a dinner meeting. Not sure yet. If I can dump him early enough, I can still make it! Glad you liked it Paul...how about another one!

Well, Paul, if you do make it, I've got your first round...on second thought, what gives with all this "end of the day" rain? Jago (Message edited by XBGenin on September 17, 2008) |

Sorry I missed out. The boss wanted to have dinner with a client so things ran later than expected. Hope you guys had fun and look to seeing you next week.

Paul, though I was the only Bueller there last night, the bar was very busy. Everyone was enjoying the "Everything 2 for 1" happy hour. Maybe, you should consider leaving the bar open and just run better specials? Then we wouldn't have to find a new place to meet. |

I was planning on going, until it started raining horses and ponies right after I got home from work. Sigh...when's rainy season over anyway? Doug, how's your M-2? Is she running again? (Message edited by XBGenin on September 18, 2008) |

The rainy season should start letting up soon! Jago - yup got the "ol girl" back on the road! It appears that it was bad gas, that seafoam did the trick. Thanks all for the advise!!

I think it's kind of ashame that they're (notice I didn't say we) eliminating the beer and wine. I was outvoted 3-2 on that decision with the owner casting the third and final vote (I did offer a bribe, but as you can imagine, he owns the company and I don't, so it wasn't nearly a lucrative enough offer). What suggestions do you all have for a new meeting place? I know we kicked around the Winter Springs Barnie's, but I think we'll need to try and keep it in the same proximity as that seems to be a central meeting point for those that come from every possible direction. The store is now under remodel and will be closed next Wednesday reopening on Friday morning. Want to meet there again week after next and make a decision on where to move to? |

Guys, I need to get new front brake pads and am not sure if something other than the Buell pads are better performance wise and price wise. Frank did mine last time at the old Buell Shop on the fly as I was in a rush, but I'll be doing these myself and want to put more thought into it. Might as well consider the rear pads too although I just replaced them inside a year ago. Thanks. Paul |

As far as brake pads go, I've never used anything but the Buell stock brakes. I've gone through 3 sets (front) so far in about 16,000 miles. I don't think I've needed to change the rear brakes yet (yes,I do use them, heh heh). As for relocating, what's everyone think of Orlando Brewery? It's close to I-4 and open until 10 (later on weekends). (Message edited by XBGenin on September 19, 2008) |

1301 Atlanta Avenue Orlando, FL 32806 (407) 872-1117 www.orlandobrewing.com They don't have food there, but they have several menus from nearby places that deliver. They make all their own beer. I've never seen it too crowded. |

My other suggestion would be Johnny's Fillin' Station on Michigan at Fern Creek. They have a better selection of drinks and their foodstuffs are pretty good. They also have a patio. Or...are you looking to keep it at a Barnie's location? Jago (Message edited by XBGenin on September 22, 2008) |

FWIW I second the Johnny's Fillin' Station on Michigan at Fern Creek idea. Paul, I am getting ready to put new front pads on the ULY. I am going with Lindalls from American Sport Bike. A lot of people recommend them so I thought I'd give them a try. Need two tires too ACCK! Frank |

I just swapped a Michelin Pilot Road on the front (been using Pilot Powers). Still some good tread on my rear tire so I'll match the set up a little later. It handles completely differently, but after a few miles, the Pilot Road a pretty comfortable tire. I also hear that they get about double the life of the Pilot Powers and are better in the rain. Just throwing in 2 cents. Where do you get Lindall brake pads from? How do they compare in price and performance (popular opinion) to the Buell brake pads? Get them from American Sport Bike Different opinions but most like them as they clean the deposits off the rotors that the stock pads deposit (resulting in pulsating brakes). They apparently lack the initial "bite" that the stock pads exhibit and instead are more linear in feel. YMMV Frank http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/171 43/391855.html?1219701866 |

Do they keep yer rims from turning gray? Jeez, I can never see my red rims! Great info, though. Not a huge difference in price. I might give them a try. Thank you for the info. Jago |

I like the patio idea Jago and it sounds like a winner to me. I don't have my heart set on keeping it at a Barnie's. I only started it there as I had the run of the place for parking, etc. |
