Well, there's a station opened up next to Turner's corner now, and there's the Sunshine Grocery just north of 180 on 129. It might not be a bad idea to have a can or two on hand, though.

That is a bummer to hear about Dale... What happend by the way... MR said he had to close up shop to go on disability??

Got a mechanical question...
I just put some break pads on the buell.
I rolled the bike forward, then hit the front break and pushed down on the handlebars. I heard a bit of a "clunk" when I pushed towards the max of compression on the front forks. Is this something that is normal? It seems out of place to me, but wanted to make sure.}

I definitely can't make it Thanksgiving weekend, but the other weekends in November are open. It's only 3 hours from here, so it's an easy day trip.

Remember it's a floating disk.

Had a good time at barber!

Shred did two races, battling out the last race with another guy that made for some good watching.

Jimmy just ran off in first place in his races but it was nice seeing him fly by!

Actually, the clunk seems to be coming from near the triple tree area... I'll check again to see if I can pinpoint it a bit more.

Hold the front brake while sitting on the bike.
Pull back on the bars.
Clunk?
Push on the bars.
Clunk?
If you're hearing the clunk, tighten the steering head bearings.
You'll need a torque wrench, and you'll need to lift the front end.
Also make sure you loosen before you tighten.
I thought this was a only while moving forward, and not all the time.
I shouldn't ASSume.

Since I am on the new meds, I am doing better each day. I believe it is because I can actually SLEEP! Not wrestle with the pillows, tossing and turning all night. Course all I do now is sleep, but I figure I have a few more days of indulgence before I have to start practice get up on time again. Thanks for asking Ratman.
