I hope no one was offended that it took so long for me to give my sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the 3% and Buellers from all over. I just had a little bit I wanted to say and kept getting tired before I could get it all down. I believe that all the prayers, positive thoughts and well wishes is what allowed me to come home without having to have surgery. 3 days of not being able to sit up straight or have an actual drink because any minute they may have to "rush you into surgery" can get on your nerves after a while. But if they had, my 4 week stretch could have easily turned into a 6 week one with all kind of other fun stuff so thanks again for all the good Karma folks! Second I want to thank Charlie, Sancheze, John(?) and everyone else who helped get my bike taking care of and safely home. Kdan's KLR went Kaput so he said he'll be turning the blue biddy into his Frankin-work-bike it seems. And last but far from least I want to thank Raty-Son, The one the only Ratman himself, RUSS TYSON! Sometimes when accidents happen, there are people that jump in to help for no other reason than to be in the Hero Glory lite themselves. But Not Ra Ra. He jumped in and even with all those people around he had 1 purpose and one purpose only, to make sure I was as safe and comfortable as possible. No matter how contorted he needed to make his body to make sure my head and my back were getting as much support as possible. I am a firm believer things happen for a reason and his timing couldn't have been more perfect or God only know how long it what have taken before someone came a long and find me with the bike on top of me and how much more damage that would have caused. 10 seconds doesn't seem like a long time until you can't breath. The idea of 2 minutes makes me sick to my stomach. Speaking of thinkings happening for a reason, funny how I made just 1 slide show of a complete stranger (back then) and that complete stranger turns out to be my HERO 2 and a half years later. Heres to you Ratman! Many, Many, Thanks! MY HERO http://photoshow.comcast.net/viewshow/dz9dR6pX |

Glad you're doing better Connie. I'm taking Laurie on her inaugural ride on the blast tomorrow. She finally went today and got half way legal, so we're gonna take backroads up to Helen, drink some beer, and check into the hotel for some good Sleep. so if anybody wants to join in, we aren't leaving the southside till noonish probably. |

Connie, you are too much. I was simply helping out a friend who was in trouble. And I am glad that I was able to be of service. The real heros are the one out there picking folks up off the road on a daily basis, and doing what they can to save total strangers. LOL.. I had almost forgotten about that slide show. HA! |

Holy crap what's going on out there tonight!? It's like there's a run on all the gas stations in Alpharetta. Gas here has gone up seventy cents since this morning! People are total fools. It's a good day to be a biker.

Connie, I'm so glad to see you back posting! That was pretty much the scariest crash I've seen, and that includes the ones I've participated in. |

> Someone send me a new picture damnit. > Maybe get Sanchez to snap a couple shoots of the Smarty at Gixxer corner! Photographing the injured at Buelltoberfest is a 3%er tradition. > Oh Yeah! and I got a Freaking ticket! That sux! Doh, that does suck. Insult to injury. > It's a good day to be a biker. Every day is a good day to be a biker! |

Hey y'all, Connie's back in the hospital. Got a few e-mails from Dan. Connie went to the emergency room about 11:00 last night in serious pain and shortness of breath. No idea what's wrong yet, but they have admitted her and want to run tests and take pictures and such. She will probably be in for a couple of days, is my guess, but she's responding to medication, if passing out on hard narcotics can be called 'responding'. She's at Wellstar Kennestone in Marietta, room P106. I doubt she'd like visitors today, she's been playing with doctors and nurses all night. Well, the procedure they performed was an exploratory stint up her femoral artery to determine if her liver was still bleeding. It wasn't. That's a good thing. There's a sizable hematoma surrounding her liver however and they think that's most likely what's causing her pain. There is no plan at this time to surgically address it. They gave her more drugs and stuck her back in ICU. She's sleeping now. As soon as I know more I'll let you know. I know y'all have some prayers and positive energy left, let's send it her way. |

A while back, some of you guys did a spot in a zombie short film for someone... Do you remember the link for those? And did that one ever get done? The picture that Kdan put up back there reminded me of that. |

Ah, the 3%ers armed to the teeth and ready for a little local ride to hunt some zombies. It's two, two sports in one. I wish we had our 3%er camera crew out that day in full force. We rode about ten miles past East Bumble to get to the town they were shooting the movie. I was hoping to make it to the movie screen, even though I was only in the shot for maybe a second or two. Charlie doing a wheelie passing the truck was priceless. Seeing that movie would have made a great movie night for us. |
