Should and can are two very separate things!

There is one in the classifieds with the expensive parts(subframe, front fairing stay, headlamps(hard to find right now)) still good for the same money.

Connie's doing good, I was able to sneak in and see her.

I was working close by today. When I got to the ICU desk I just told the nurses I was her brother and acted like I new what I was doing, lol!

It was funny when I knocked on her door and the nurse asked "who is it?"

I said... "It's me,Connie's brother Michael"

Once I got into her room I laughed and said "brother from the 3%er cult, lol!

We even went for a short walk, her first since her accident. She tough!

I am not sure if I will see you guys at Buelltoberfest, as that falls right at my mid-term week at school. I will have to see what is going on that weekend.
But if not, I will definitely see you at March Badness.. or maybe even before then.

I just got off the phone with Connie (if you couldn't already tell). She sounds great! And is doing very well she says.
She also said that they may let her go home today!! WOOT!!
It sounds like the folks at Gainesville Medical Center (is that the right place??) took great care of her.

She's getting sprung! Connie's being released from the hospital, so as soon as I can get up there, she'll be not in there anymore.



So if anyone was planning on visiting, or sending something, she's going to be at my house for a couple of days and then probably home, once I decide to release her.



Apparently the doctor saw her today and said she was doing so well, he didn't see any reason to keep her, so she's going straight from ICU to something worse...Dan Care. She told me that the doctor had explained to her that what looks like happened is that in the accident she had somehow doubled over so hard that her ribs had squeezed off a chunk of her liver and said chunk was still rattling around in there trying to reattach itself. If it reattaches, great, if not, she'll probably need minor surgery sometime to fish it out. Hearing her describe it, it sounds like she's got a slug squirming around in there...Go figure.



Anyway, she's coming home with me in about an hour or two.
