Jd - hope you get the bike up and running tonight. Did you receive your patches and decals yet? Just want to make sure they arrived. |

JD - There should be a toolkit under your seat. It has the large hex fitting you need to get the wheel off. |

Oops, sorry, I forgot you had a Blast. You don't have a toolkit, but you don't need one. You don't even need a jack to get the Blast wheel off, a cinder block will work. Hope you've got it working. |

You need a 23mm socket or wrench and the nut that is in the tool kit of the bike. The Nut fits in the socket/wrench and in the socket of the rear axle. You will need to remove some covers to get the belt off that requires a T27 Torx screwdriver to remove the bolts. To put the wheel back on it is important to have a torque wrench. You want to make sure you do not over torque the axle installing or you may crush the spacer between the wheel bearing and end up damaging them. The real problem is that you will not see the damage until the bearings start to deteriorate somewhere down the road. |

thanks to all of you. and yes i did get the patches/decals. they are great. did you get the check yet? well, i got everything off and changed the bearings. then put everything back together. went to put the bolt back on the axle and it wont go on. the threats got screwed up. now i got to take it back apart and either go get a new one or get it rethreaded. i love how a simple 1 hour job turns into a 2 day thing. glad i have people to get rides to and from work. |

Jd - haven't checked the mail in a few days. Been on Jury Duty last week and then family came in, now my truck is in the shop. I'll let you know when I check the box again! Glad the decals and patches got there. Sorry about your troubles with the axle. |

What time is everyone going to Ray Price? Think I might be able to convince Carlos to take the Uly out for a while later today! |

Not sure what everyone else is doing, but I might stop by Ray Price in the next hour or so to kick tires and check on my Firebolt headlights before I ride up to Danville to visit Janis again. |

Carlos is washing the bike and we'll be heading to Ray Price soon. It will be at least 11:30 - 12:00 before we get up there. |

Well, by the time my daughter and I got there (12:30ish)the wings were about wiped out. I saw a few Buells parked here and there but not many. Since I don't really know anyone on the website yet the only way to pick people out is if they have on a Buell shirt! |

Works for me. I usually try to go a little early (11:30ish) to beat the crowds, but anytime will work for me. Anyone else? |

11:30 is fine with me. I had to change a left side peg and shift lever tonight. I'll test it tomorrow to make sure all is well. Any RTP lunch spot in particular? |
