If I have a vote, it would be either Dec. 14 or 21. The team travels on those two weekends. BTW....is anyone else riding today? I'm giving myself a birthday treat and cutting out of work at noon.  | ||

Lake...Thanks for the input concerning your schedule. Trust me, the Holiday Party would not be the same without your presence and I trust the rest of the group agrees. I would vote for December 14th as it is furthest from the holiday and you know how everyone is scrambling the weekend before Christmas. LOL | ||

Indian Summer is upon us. So yesterday I went for a great ride in the Memomminee Indian Reservation. The fall colors along the Wolf River were at about 75%. And the wildlife was definately a challege. I saw a number of deer, almost had wild turkey for dinner and returned home with an orange helmet compliments of those damn lady bird beetles Keep me posted on the Holiday Party. Indian Summer...Oh what a beautiful time of the year. Just wish it would stay like this year round. Have been riding every day since Saturday and pray we can bypass Winter and go directly to Spring. So much to go, see and do...Yet, so little time. | ||

Just a note to let you know that if you are into the Fall Colors, this is the weekend to hit the Holy Hill area!!! I have watched it change every day this week and today was absolutely outstanding. Have a feeling that by next weekend much of the foliage will be on the ground as it is beginning to drop at a constant rate. Enjoy and ride safe. Lots of other bikes and cars on the road doing the same thing. | ||

Went down to Byron, IL and the ride down by the river with the leaves turning colors was AWESOME !! Great riding day !! CJ XB  P.S. Wasn't throwing stones really, just giving Lake some shit all in fun !! | ||

Hello all, well had to go away for awhile. For those of you that have gotten to know me a little bit. I am in a divorce that will not end. I was there right at 7:00 to turn in my poster stuff, but I could not stay as I had to go play darts !! The surprise to me was that Gerry was the only one at the meeting, was staying a few more minutes then was headed home himself !! Hopefully a few more showed up after me !! CJ XB | ||

I was in class and I can get a note from the teacher if need be. So, if I read an email correctly, this means that all the club rides for next year are of Gerry's choosing? Sure hope he didn't hold any elections for next years officers or hold any votes on the location for the Christmas feeding. I'll try to make the January meeting, and maybe the one in June. |
