Well, I have found out that it is supposed to have the 351 windsor motor in it, so I wonder if they left the 351 cpu in it and put in the 302. Most of the engine controls are the same so the wiring harness is close. I dont know, I thought i could tweak it a little and drive it and I really dont feel like putting a bunch of money and time into. |

A whole motor's only $131 at Pull-A-Part if you're willing to put some blood, sweat, and tears into removing it. |

I'm riding tomorrow. There's another 50 cc rally starting at noon from the Sunshine grocery store near 180 and 129. The rally goes down the RBR and back. I'm going to ride up there and camp out in a corner for a bit to photograph them if it isn't pouring rain. I'll be at the Shell station about 10 AM. |

I just got a new Continental Road Attack on the front of my Uly. It feels good. I don't know if the profile is different from the Avon Storm ST I took off or if it's just rounder because it's new, but the bike turns in easier. It's noticeably more responsive. |

I've read a bit about the Continental Road Attacks, and have been wanting to try them out. From what I've read they handle well and you'll get good mileage out of them. I saw them on sale for about $226 for a set, three or so months ago. I didn't get them and now the cheapest I've seen them is $245 or so for a set. Go figure I make up my mind after the sale ends. I'll wait for the next sale. Wish I could ride, but it's a bit hectic around here. Family in town, and Kathy's dad's in the hospital. I have had Little Tally in the back of my mind, but I doubt I'll make that happen. Hope all's well with everyone. Have fun and ride safe. |

Well thanks to Uncle Charlie, my kids are out riding the 50 again today. Carlos thought that a bearing had gone out and hadn't had time to look into it. While in GA picking up our new rescue puppy, we went to Sam & Charlie's house. Of course, the 50 was out and my kids wanted rides. When Carlos mentioned the issue with our 50, Charlie immediately said, I doubt it's the bearings, check the nut that holds the wheel on. I bet its loose. Sure enough, once again from the hip, Charlie was right and our 50 is tearing up the yard today! Thanks Charlie! I hope all the goodies we left behind are enough to pay for your consulting fees! |

Hey y'all! Look at my new toy!
I call it "The Beast". I just got done letting it kick my a$$! My father-in-law gave it to me 'cause he couldn't use it for physical therapy after his back surgery. Actually, I think he was done with it after he got it put together. That is a workout all by itself! Now I'm off for a shower, some water and some CARBS! |

Now if I could only make a living doing it.... Glitch, do you still have that window unit?? I have a ton of cleaning in the barn to do and really want to cool it off so I can get it done with Hayden out there with me. Yall have fun riding today, I would come play but I am on baby duty. Gotta get the tags on Sams car so I can be mobile while she is working. |

The ridin was good. We hit the Sunshine grocery store near 129 and 180 about 11:00 AM just before it started to rain pretty hard. We waited there on the Formula 50 riders to arrive and laughed at all the wet squids and bicyclists. A whole gang of CBRs pulled up just after the downpour started. We had a good chuckle at their fearless leader in his shorts and t-shirt. I'll be impressed if none of them crashed, as I saw more than one pair of bald race takeoffs and a couple of dealer tags to boot. The rain eventually let up, and Dan and I took off down the RBR to setup and take pictures. After the rally, we went to Turner's Corner for lunch and then headed home. We hit some rain on the way back to Atlanta, but it wasn't too bad. My feet got soaked, but my crotch stayed relatively dry. |

Wet feet and a dry crotch...sounds like a successful day to me. I'll be riding next weekend for sure...I hope. We helped a friend of ours get ready to move to Knoxville. |

Nice pics Sanchez, makes me miss riding in the hills B_S, Well Happy B'day...Thats a sweet azz over-under, their getting harder to find. Are you going small game hunting or skeet shooting? Either way some CF would give it a nice touch, lol! I know you want too....so just do it and get it over with. That race yesterday was pretty good, even in the rain. What did ya'll think about that 1st place wheelie across the finish line? |

I missed the race.... Even though I have yet to touch a customers car the Ford is not dead!!! The noise I was hearing was crankcase pressure, the PCV valve was clogged and the breather/filter that was installed never had a hole punched in the grommet. So the bad oil pump squeal was blow by, this also explains the oil smelling funny!! She has been running good all morning and I am about to head to the petro station then over to the emissions station to give her a "training" run and see where the numbers are. I have also fixed the radio, turn signals and tailgate!! |

Happy B-day Will! Long time no see... Yeah, the race was a good one. People kept falling, just like the rain. Good news there Charlie. I'm real glad it's working out. |
