Juile, I will not be able to make your ride. Lynn and I will be up at Breck for a company getaway. I hope you have a great ride to remember your friend. Are you and Dan going to homecoming? Frank |

John, the plan is to leave Castle Rock at 0900 and yes, we will be getting off 470 at Morrison. It's about a 40 minute ride to that point. We are planning on stopping there to make sure that all are accounted for. If you can join us that would be great. The only thing is that most of the bikes will be cruisers and it won't be a "spirited ride". |

Hi Frank. No, we're not going to homecoming. We're doing 2 trips this yr, one in mid-July thru Colo and maybe into Utah and NM. Then in October we're RV'ing down to Las Vegas for Inside Pass track day at LVMS and for Femmoto. Also the Taos trip. Unfortunately, can't afford that much time off. We'll be out riding a lot this summer tho, between the Buells and the dirt bikes. The weekend of June 21st, we're taking the RV and trailer to Salida to ride on Sat and Sun. Hope the weather will be nice. (Message edited by jumpinjewels on June 11, 2008) |

Frank - Glad you stopped in last weekend, we are real busy at the parts counter then. At least I got to say hi! You were talking to Justin, I'm sure. Hardcore Bueller, used to work at NHRS. He was in Parts for a while, got moved out to sales a couple of months ago. Today's my Friday, short day and the next 2 days are to be cooler and wetter. pfffft. Not much more than a week till the trip. Gotta start getting things ready to go. Woooo-Hooooooo! Z |

John, it was great having you. Would enjoy getting together again. I continue to learn as I ride with MORE EXPERIENCED riders. Thank you. We had 17 or 18 bikes and 27 people. There were only 3 Buells and the rest cruisers. Only John, Dan and I rode back home together as the "baggers" didn't want to do the twisties home. One of the group does ride a Ducati as his OTHER bike and was bummed he didn't have it yesterday. I must say, he kept up with John and I in the twisties until he got behind a slow moving car. We had absolutely beautiful weather and lunch at the Dunraven Inn Downtown was great. If anyway goes up to Estes Park this is a great place to dine. |

Sounds like you all had a great time. I wish I could have been in both places at one. Lynn and I went to Breck for the weekend. The best thing was talking to Kim and Cheryle Beres. We talked about bringing back the Breck Buell Rally. Everyone let me know what you think. Frank and Lynn just outside of Fairplay

Has anyone been to Colorado Powersports in Boulder and seen a Red 2006 Uly for sale there? It is on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&ih=025&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem =&item=380038109754&rd=1 It seems priced a bit low to me. I really cannot tell the condition from the pictures and do not have the time to drive up there before homecoming. I wonder if anyone knows the original owner and what condition the bike is in? Wow, red is such a nice color for a Uly! I wonder what their reserve price is set at. It would probably be better to contact them directly about it. If you want to make a trip up to check it out I can try to join you to lend any of my Uly specific expertise. Also, with the "ADV" sticker on it, you may want to post the picture on www.advrider.com to see if anyone there knows its history. |

Steve, yeah I am not crazy about Red Ulys either... Just kidding. I just registered for that site. I have lurked there before but never bothered to registered so I will post it when I get confirmed. Here are the pics I stole. If it stays around 5K I would pick it up. I will check with the boss to see what our weekend plans are and may go look at it and I will let you know. I have to rebuild the carb on my S1W so so not know if I will make it up there and then of course the weekend after we will all be trying to find a dry road to get to homecoming. Frank

Just got an email from Racing to Save Lives. They're having their event July 3-6 at Miller. I am totally bummed. We already have our bike trip planned and won't be able to go to Miller. It would have been nice if they had notified people earlier. Sorry, had to vent |

Hi everone, I want to sleep in a little, so I'm planning to leave the Morrison Conoco at 9:00 am Sunday morning. I was thinking of riding Squaw Pass, the central city parkway, then the peak to peak hiway to Coal Creek etc. A fairly new rider on a Lightning long will be joining us so I intend to slow it down a little on this ride and check out the scenery. Hi all, I'm getting new tires to put on my bike in the very near future in preparation for an upcoming bike trip. So, the reason for this post is that we have both front and back stock Diablo tires that still have 50-60% tread left. If anyone would like to have them for FREE, let us know. |
