I rode part of this loop yesterday, but I ran out of time. We should make this day 1 of Buelltoberfest. It's about 350 miles, starting from the top of 400. http://tinyurl.com/5bkbpq 60 -> 68 -> Cherohola Skyway -> 129 -> 28 -> Wayah Road -> Warwoman -> 197 -> RBR -> and back down to the top of 400. |

No dirt, but it does look like a GREAT day run. I need a new tire and that might have to be the break in cycle! If only Hayden wanted to go for a ride on his birthday!LOL |

michael, it was 1107 from my house to Hal's in New Berlin, Wi. rode about 850 miles including 90 at Blackhawk Farms Raceway and it was 1212 from Road America to my house for a total of 3279. it really wasn't bad(read no bruising) but it was damn hot yesterday and even melted the glue holding the soles of my boots on. submitting the documentation tomorrow to the iron butt association for the certificate. how's the racing? tim |

Going to buy(if she runs and drives like advertised) at a turd tonight. I say turd because it is dark brown on top and bottom with light brown in the middle! 4x4 Ford F-150 extended cab. 5.0 liter motor that wont pass emission, body is clean, interior is dirty cuz it was a work truck. $1k!! So my S-10 is for sale if I pick it up. 2000 S-10 4cyl 5 speed, manual everything. 104k on the clock $4500 bucks. |

I got my race plastics back today. Check out the sweet new paint job from Hot Bobby:
Just kidding. I snagged an ugly spare set for $150 to use while I wait for Bobby to finish the Sharkskinz. Who's up for Tally on the 19th or 20th? |

Sanchez! You're a genius, man! Paint the bike to make it look like you've already crashed! I can't believe nobody has thought of it before. |

Damn if it is not a love hate relationship with my machine. Yesterday while it was giving me fits I pulled into a parking lot of a rec center. There was a lady and her two little kids walking through the lot. As I pulled in, the little boy looked at me, started screaming bloody murder and jumped into his mama's arms. I guess I deserve the problems I have for making little kids scream and all. Shannon was making me scream late last night. So I cranked up the bike and took off north through horse country. Ended up here at about 3 ante meridiem: It is an awesome covered bridge. I stuck around for a while star gazing. But then I decided their were probably trolls nearby and I was not armed. Got lost on the way home. Saw at least 10 deer. Bike ran great...until this morning. |

I hope I am not hurting my motor riding as is. It sure hurts my ego. Surging and stalling does not do much in the order of cool. Hopefully, I can get down to the barn soon and we can sort out my ECM. |

At least you did not just buy a truck that runs fine while its cold and after an oil change you find out the oil pump is taking a shit. |

Looks like a nice park Travis, I'd like to try out the biking trails. BTW, Keep the screaming in the bedroom, lol! Shelley was making me scream Tuesday evening, must be something in the air. Wish I had been smart enough to just leave and ride the bike. Glitch, Chicken! Then FRIED...chicken Sanchez, I was wanting to race at Roebling but if I can't Tally might be a great alternative, I need the practice and might even have to rock the Hawk... Wish I could have race'd more this year. I'm 4th in points in D Superbike so far but theirs 3 races this month I can't do and I've already miss'd about four races so 4th isn't bad but looks like I'm going to be dropping back to do not being able to race. CMP this coming weekend Jennings the next weekend Roelbling the weekend after and right before we go on vacation to Myrtle Beach. then Tally in early Aug' that I hope to make it to. Barber in September, BTW it will be my birthday weekend so I'm planing on kicking some azz and getting on the podium. Then the GNF at Road atlanta in october. I'll more than likely just race at TGP, Barber and then GNF. I'm going to run the #1 plate for that event. The Duc's going to have some extra hp to help me to be more competitive Nice tat deadduck, good job Frank! I'm next... (Message edited by shred on July 10, 2008) |

Travis, I hope to see you down this way soon also. Charlie, The pump itself is usually pretty reliable; the pickup tube in the oil pan may be clogged or restricted with trash, causing low oil pressure. This is a quote from www.f150online.com They have a forum there, may be worth checking out. Steve, nice tat! Shred, FRIED CHICKEN!!! |

Glitch, the it sounds like a metal to metal squeal when the truck is running. I thought it was the transmission torque converter but the noise is loudest at the oil pan. This noise also depressurizes after I shut the truck off, almost like the pump is leaking. I might just put some 50 weight oil in it, drive it home and put it for sale and try to make a couple hundred bucks off it. Gonna put it on craigslist now. |
