Same problem here. I don't desire to go to any dinners or tech sessions. I just want to be able to drive out to east troy, snap pictures of some awesome bikes, tour the plant, and buy some stuff. I don't need a ticket to do that..........do I? |

I think I'm in the same boat. I registered for the event when I picked up the new bike. But I haven't heard a peep out of Buell yet. I registered for the HOG event at the same time, and I get something in the mail almost every other week, now. Should we be getting something in the mail, here? Thanks! |

Dana, That's what I'm hoping for but I really want to be sure. I'll shoot the email a quick note and see what happens. Brad |

I registered a few months ago and never received a confirmation reply. So I sent an email to Buell_25th_Anniversary@buell.com and got an email back from jill.uhen@harley-davidson.com with all my event information. No problem! I'll print that out and take it with me. |

I missed registration too (my own fault) and sent the e-mail to try to register. I received a polite response, but unfortunately it still said no. <<Hi George - unfortunately registration for this event closed on June 11. However, you can purchase tickets direct from some of the venues such as Road America and Summerfest. Kind regards, Buell Staff>> Too bad... George |

Does anyone know if the Factory will allow people to take the tour if they didn't register? Last year I wasn't going to be able to attend the track events (like this year), so I just went to East Troy for the Tour and the ride to Uke's. At this point, I'd be happy to be involved in some way. I live in the Chicago area and ride through East Troy on many of my day trips, so it would be cool to celebrate the 25th anniversary with you guys. |

Gfc55. From all that I've been reading, that is not an option. If you go back in the main body of this topic, that has been a sore spot with me. Some one posted an email that they got from the organizers' (HOG) and from the wording, unless you registered, you may not even be allowed on the property. That being said, I find it really hard to believe that you won't be able to hang out and visit in the factories lot. But getting in, unless the powers that be have changed something, isn't doable. |

>>>Does anyone know if the Factory will allow people to take the tour if they didn't register? The answer that I have gotten is "no". The registration serves as your liability release and authority for entry. That doesn't necessarily mean your options are exhausted. If you show up I doubt anyone is going to prevent you from hanging out and having a good time. I'd bet, although I do not know, that they are prepared to deal with the inevitable few folks who will appear non-registered. This particular event required a good deal of planning ergo the 6-11-08 cut-off date. |

That is what just finalized my decision on not going. I had no way to plan the time off for this event with business the way it has been this year. I finally have closed a couple of deals that could let it happen. Last year I had a great time at the event and entry to all of the things that went on. That also had to be a last minute decision, that was an excellent one by the way. But having said all of that, I do not wish to invest the time and money(seven hundred miles, four days) to be left out of the great events that will be happening. I know it is my fault for not being able to plan ahead by a few months, such is life. I feel bad for I also know I was not alone in this predicament and as such a bunch of good people will not get to 'fully' enjoy the Homecoming festivities. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't want to go that far to stand on the outside. Have a great time everybody. Maybe I'll make the 26th. |

Vern: I hate to see you miss this and hate to miss seeing you. You are welcome to my ticket if you'd like it. Vickie and I are going in a couple days early for some other "non-offical" events and I suspect by the day of the factory visit I'll have been kicked out anyway. You're certainly welcome to my ticket if you'd like it. Court |

I for once in my life lucked out and my favorite motorcycle is made in my backyard, as I live in Milwaukee. My wife was unsure if she'd go or if we'd find daycare and I didn't want to spend $100 for driving 15 miles or so. Parking my bike, snaping some pictures, a tour, and buying some stuff. So awhile ago when the e-mail was given to us I sent a letter and received this: Theodore – you can show up at Noon at Buell Motorcycle Factory in East Troy if you’d like (on July 3rd), but you may be asked to donate a small amount ($10 cash), which will be going to our local food pantry. In exchange you’ll be given a wristband to gain access to the site and participate in all activities. Thank you, Buell Staff |

Since someone else heard "no" I plan to print and bring this letter with me. But I find it hard to believe that such a giving company would make someone who shows up on a buell turn around and leave. |

>>>Since someone else heard "no" I plan to print and bring this letter with me. There will be no need to bring the letter. I was not aware that had been made public yet but it is dead accurate. Buell will turn no one away. Buell, since day one, has been all about inclusion, not exclusion. During your Buell years many of us will run the gamut from bright to dull and from poverty to plenty. Erik and I spent, I think, an inordinate amount of time in poverty and frankly liked a lot of the folks we met there. No one will be turned away. If you need a full ticket, I'd be happy to pay for it. These things tend to go in cycles. I really am looking forward to meeting many of the Buell owners and seeing some (like Rich and John) of the owners who were at Homecoming 20 years ago. Dana has agreed to host a long standing Homecoming tradition at The Boiler Room. Be there or be square. There is no reason for anyone to miss it. This is a fabulous company, it'll be a fabulous event and you'll meet people who can change your life. Court |

Glad to hear that they'll allow some of the non registrants to visit the factory. A donation to a food pantry is a fantastic way of handling that. That said, I'll see you all at the factory on Thursday afternoon and at the Boiler Room on Thursday evening. It'll be great to see you all and connect more names with faces. Court and Theodore, thanks for the heads up on the factory, and Dana, thanks for hosting a great event! Alex |

I am very happy to see the option of visiting the Factory and making a donation!!! I must not have asked the question correctly. I'll plan to be at the Factory and come out to the Boiler Room for the musical portion of the event. Woo Hoo!!! George |

Hey all... I know this doesn't pertain to getting into any events...But, we are bringing a truck along with us (driving behind us as we ride up), and should have enough tools if anyone needs to fix/repair their bike! We'll also have front/rear stand as well! I'm on the Excel sheet here for Homecoming as well. |

wish this information had been made available sooner as now my plans are set in stone and won't be able to make any of the events. I will, however, be racing at Road America, so I hope to see some people there! |

Crusty, I have Congressional approval, a bit of a business miracle happened, I'm in the mood for a break, I have a Uly riding buddy who is fairly sure he can make it, it appears that I may be able to get the tickets and room from a cancellation or generous other, I can write it off as a business trip, and I got this great shirt that is begging to be worn at the right venue! Loud fans save lives! It is in the works! |
