What I wouldn't give to see Arkansas again !!

Good news is I'm planning on going down sometime Mid-November !! Probably can't take the bike though !!

Just hop on the bike or load it up for the weekend. You know you want to do it!! LOL camping is only $10 a night or the have little a-frame huts for $20. Besides gas and food, shouldn't be too expensive!

I'll sell anyone a 2001 BMW r1100s with 13,000 (still w/in BMW break in period ;) ) miles, hard bags, ABS, AC/DC Adapter, cover, alarm, new Metzeler MEZ4s, heated grips, and center stand for $9,500 obo.

Warranty is still good until May of 2004.

Actually for $6995 that a good price for a new bike. Didnt the S3T sell for something like $11000-12000?

If the bike had mega miles on it, then I would say yes the price was high, but not with 225 miles.

Note...mega miles in Buell speak usually means 5000 or more:D

Dudes, I'm not selling my bike because I'm getting married. Let's get that straight right now.

I'm selling it because A) its becoming a pain in my a$$hole. Bikes are supposed to be fun, as soon as it becomes work and starts stressing you out then forget it. I'm getting sick of the biker crap and the traffic. B) I don't have time for it, I get home from work and its 6pm then I goto to gym and work out and eat dinner and Its like 830pm. Balls! I goto bed at 930.

C) Mainly, due to the job I have I gotta live in the City. So my freaking 1000 sqft condo costs as much as my Mom's ranch 2800sqft Naperville home, and I don't have a garage. Like I said, BALLS!

So I'm planning on buying a 2 or 3 flat and building my real estate empire so that by age 50 I don't have to be a slave to my job. I can sit back and let the renters pay the mortgage and get fat and generally become a slumlord.

So that's my goal and the way I figure it'll cost me $500-$800g to get there.

So for the next few years I'll be takin up floors and replacing windows with my spare time. The bike doesn't stand much chance of gettin used.

I figure, its in good shape and I haven't killed myself yet so maybe one of you blokes would wanna try.

Sorry Rog, not that interested in trades. And yes, both grips work. Still under warranty, besides, it was just a pinched wire.

BTW, I'll toss in that sticker on the windscreen for nothing. Its a free pass to park at the Chicago Police Dept's HQ building on 35th and Michigan.

Might come in handy for anyone looking for cheap parking at a White Sox game.

funny, last month I left the road down by the DRAGON, went over the bars and bounced down the road for 50 yards or so Chris Farley style( Black Sheep reference),got my wits about me, took inventory, realized I smashed my right kneecap. When my ridin' buddy got stopped on the oily slope Tennessee calls a road, I flipped up my visor and proclaimed "It's still better than F...ing working!"
