Well, we want to come out for Homecoming but can't find a housesitter, and can't afford both the fuel to get to Homecoming *and* boarding for the dogs. Does anyone know of pet-friendly places to stay? We've got 2 midsize dogs (an Aussie mix, 11 years old and a Husky mix, 6 yrs) and a 2yr old pug. All housetrained, other-dog-friendly and non-food-agressive.... Barring pet-friendly accomodations, anyone have a good-fenced yard we can just toss 'em in?

I just called the host hotel (well, 'central booking' or whatever it is) and they said they typically have a one-dog limit, less than 40lbs. grr. My GM gave me the hairy eyeball so I'll have to wait till later to call the hotel directly to see if I can get permission for three, two of which are larger than the limit. |

We met a couple last year who stayed here with two dogs. I don't know any info on size requirements, cost etc. but they do "accept pets".
