hope all the family emergencies were minor, and concluded nicely . . .

track day was great . . . .we got 5 sessions in . . . I'm not even gonna try to guess their duration, cuz, as you know, time does funny things on the track . . .. . . no one got hurt, but Billy had a low speed get off in the dirt in his corner, same one he ate it last time (Rick Beuer sez they're gonna name it Billy's corner)

Kudoes to Don for setting this up! (and, btw, he's quite a hot shoe . . . . .don't bet against him)

Thanks again to Don for arranging track day. Lot's of fun, not too crowded and ample track time.

Kept getting picked-off by Bill (fast), Bobby (faster) and Don (fastest, on that damned SV650). Hell, everybody was passing me! I pitted early on last two laps of the day due to low fuel, but it provided me a great view of Don and Bobby running close and fast through the carousel, chicane and leaning hard out of turn 5.

Too much fun. :-)

Curt, I wasn't passing you! But I had a great time. Nice to see everyone having fun. I especially liked the challenge Rick Beuer gave us to try going around the track without using the brakes. It taught me how to look beyond the immediate curve.

Can't wait 'til next year's session. Thanks, Don for setting it up.

Had a great time Thanx Don for letting me share the track with a rider of your caliper .Had a great time .Need you guys to help me out with some prayers for my wife who was taken to ER for some major blood clotting in leg and groin .And for me who will be in charge of baby for a few days who cant be in hospital with mom.Thanx guys

The KCMOB and SLAB are invading Arkansas this coming weekend (Sept 19, 20, and 21st). Anyone interested in joining us is more than welcome. I know it is short notice, but the more the merrier!

We are going to set up base at the Iron Horse Stables near Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The KCMOB is camping there for the weekend. Here is the info:

Arrive in the Eureka Springs area sometime around 5 or 6. (Heather and I should be arriving mid afternoon, if anyone is interested in arriving earlier) Ride a bit and find a nice place to eat. Saturday we are planning on riding all day. This should included Push mountain Rd and several others that our tour guides Shazam, Frank, and Racerboy have put together. Sunday Ride, get lunch, and head home.

I know its short notice, but if anyone is interested in joining us please email myself or Shazam. We?ll get you our home and cell numbers to help with any accomodations that we can.
