Saturday. I should at least be at the meeting. Not sure if I'll make the ride or not. Depends on what she who must be obeyed says. |

Wednesday I decided to go for a bit of a ride and wound up doing 100 miles in the hottest part of the day. 1488 to 149 up to Richards then back to 105, 336, and home. I decided to take the Ninja and my feet and hands are still upset with me about it |

JCI has changed their policy, you now have to be inside or you will be asked to leave, and when there is a large group in the lot they call the Police to ask nicely. |

A group of us are headed to eastern Arizona Sept 17-21 to ride the hills. If you've never been, they have some of the best roads in the world. Rt 191 is 97 miles long and has over 1100 curves. Go to www.zrx1100.com and click on message board and go to ride/meets and hit the AZ trip for about four pages of details. I'm trucking out there. We will me staying at Reeds motor lodge in Springerville Az and riding from dawn to dusk. If you got the time, you should try to make it. It's worth the drive. |

In that case I won't be giving JCI another penny of my money and I suggest that everyone else with 2 wheels do the same. Show them that if they don't support their customers, we won't support them. Their food sucks anyway Off to Galveston now... |

I have been riding to work. Feels like riding into a blow dryer. I love to ride, but damn it's hot. I had a buddy pulled over last week in Houston, the officed warned him about JCI, said there would be some "enforcement" going on. Too bad, there is really not a place for sport bikes to gather. If you are a "rub" riding on lots of chrome, places welcome you with open arms and booze. Lets all rally at Roadrunners House ! |

Well, guys, you've got a new destination. I bought a place in the country about 20 miles west of Bellville. We're up there most weekends. Bikes definitely welcome! Ping me off-line for directions... r-t |

RT: Love to ride out to you new place as soon as I get back from this Asia gig I'm doing. I haven't seen a Buell or a bike over 125cc for over a month. Birdsong, alittle heat beats Monsoon rain day in and day out. See you guys soon, be safe. |

I'd love to go, but I don't think I can handle riding out to that part of the world 2 days in a row. Went to TWS for the TSBA BBQ today and it was almost cold coming home. Of course that was just the wind chill factor, but still Brent, Was that you heading east on 1488 around 4 or so? |

Not on a motorcycle. I have about an inch of dust on her. I'll go out in the garage and visit her once in a wile. Its been a month since i've been on the bike. But i'm ready to get out and run. |

Had a little group of Buell (and other) riders out to El Ranchita Road Thing this morning. We squashed a few bugs. Mrs_Thing and I fed 'em up good after a little ride through the Texas countryside. Rem enjoyed my special sauce! There will be more gatherings! Thanks for coming, guys (and girls!) r-t |
