Sorry Graham cant help you. Maybe check the knowledge vault. I just talked to my friend (David) from work. He bought the Buell tonight. A black 07 Ulysses. I get to go and ride it tomorrow. |

I would be surprised if you can't run that size. It's a pretty minor change. I would say you'r good to go unless you have a rear fender that fits really tight to the factory tire size. I don't remember you having one though, so I say go for it. I bet if you scan the "Old School Buell" section of BadWeb, this has already been talked about. |

Nor riding for me this weekend, in spite of the great weather yesterday. Was up near Latus helping a friend with '70s airhead Beemer rebuild project, doing some electrical work (zip-tie & crimp tool fetish). I have to tackle similar electro-mods soon on my BMW... and eventually some electro-upgrades on the XB as well. Our 1st BMW ride is just 3 weeks from now: the NorCal loop, with daughter riding pillion for the 1st time... guess I'll be listening to lots of Hanna Montana on the iPod & Autocom. Will evaluate road conditions for the Buell NorCal weekend. |

toby, i was wondering if that was you! i actually saw two other buells that day as well, one cyclone (just after seeing you go up burnside) and the other was an xb on barber earlier on. true true, too bad we didnt meet up sooner, although it is always great to see another buell coming the other direction! different in every sense! -g |

I didn't know Ducati was making "trucks". Would love to do both of these but unfortunately, with Mother's Day being tomorrow, I was up almost all night getting deliveries organized for today. Gotta love being your own boss right. |

I would like to make it to Domenics. I believe Graham had mentioned he wanted to go. I would not be able to make it until after 5:00. I probably will not go to MotoCorsa. If I ride one I may just like it too much. So Jim does that mean its too late to get a delivery to Hillsboro? |

It was definitely too late to get a delivery to Hillboro Aron. Sorry. It was pretty amazing just how busy it got for Mother's Day. We knew it would be busy, but didn't expect it to be that busy. Unfortunately, my wife had to pull another all nighter and is still sleeping it off right now. She has certainly earned a day of rest this Mother's Day. |

Well, I had a good ride. Did the wong route at my own pace. Blew a few lines, had one big slide (went wide and crossed the double yellow, oops) but didn't find myself making too many mistakes. I'm looking forward to the track day! |

BIG Slide? Does that mean you actually slid across the double yellow or just swung wide? If you were sliding you must have been just about scrapping your knee... The route I posted above has some very nice turns for the first half. The only problem for me was all the up and down hills. Just about made myself motion sick. |

BIG slide. Went wide on a right turn, hit the double yellow then slid both front and rear across them. No SR's though... |

Since I could not ride this morning I went out this afternoon for about 5 hours. Man was it warm. I made three stops one which was Latus. Saw the 1125R back on the floor. This time it had a third place open class V-twin award sitting on it along with a new custom exhaust and carbon fiber ram air intake. Looks like the one off of the XBR. Kenny will this be the same bike that will be brought to track day on June 3rd? |

I have yet to meet a 1125R owner here in the Portland area. But I think there are at least five of them running around. |

Well it sounds like the road I posted above is an awesome road as long as the snow has all melted away. See review. http://oregonmotorcyclist.com/ridepage.php?page=qu artzville This would be one were we would meet up in Wilsonville and end up at Latus. We would be looking at about a 6-7 hour day. Start 8:00 am and be done by 3:00. |

Good road, but wait until the weather warms up and some of the road debris is gone. We're heading down to NorCal in an hour, but can't take our usual route tomorrow because of too much snow over mountains. Last year on Memorial Day weekend we roasted in the sun riding perfect mountain roads. Never believed that Global Warming crap, anyway! |
