Pretty good turn out last night. Four Buells and a bunch of Honda's. Jason, That X-1 is a HOT ROD. Very cool. I remember drooling over those in dealerships in 2001. |

Hey Drake, Here's a link to that jacket for your girlie: http://www.tulsasportbikeriders.com/forum/viewtopi c.php?f=28&t=16747 Thanks, I really enjoy my X-1, it never fails to make me grin inside my helmet. Plus, it gets looks and comments from all sorts of people. (Message edited by medic352 on April 27, 2008) |

Last Saturday I rode with a XB9'er. It sure was cool tooling down Riverside Drive with a fellow Bueller.I liked that seat also.I believe it was a Corbin.I almost didn't see the halted traffic because I was too busy looking at that yellow bike. Peace and Grease to whoever that was. |

Does anyone know where I can buy a set of amber anodized rider heel guards? I can't seem to locate a dealer on these. I want a set for my 2005 lightning. Peace |

Boliver, Route 66 should be able to order these for you. If not, check out the sponsors section of this board. Somebody will surely have them. Drake |

Ask for Russ at Route 66, I have bought SO MUCH Buell stuff, that they have an accessories catalog at the parts bench. Another route would be buy some spare heel guards and some touch up paint and make your own. Tell him Jason sent you. |

Jason, Yes that sounds like a good idea about buying and making my own. I will keep my eyes open also on e-bay. Thanks so much for your info. Peace and Grease. Lesley |

Hello Pete, Welcome! I have to admit...I don't make it down to OKC much. But if I ever do, I'll let you know. "Bbueller" is on this board occasionally and he lives in Edmond...I think. His name is Brian. See you around. |

Anyone know the best shop here in Tulsa to have put a set of wheel bearings in my S1 w/PM wheels? I have heard you can mess up the wheels if they are not put in correctly. Any help will be appreciated. I was thinking of going to Tulsa Cycle Center because it is within a mile of my work but I have not heard any thing about their work. Also, anyone going to Hallet this weekend to check out the racing? (Message edited by grancuda on May 09, 2008) |

I buy all my tires from Tulsa Cycle Supply, and even have them install most of them on my customer's bikes. I also took the forks off of my '96 S-2 and had them rebuild them, I took in seals($70 for labor and oil). I would probably price bearings from HD/Route 66 then get a quote for labor only and one for parts and labor from TCS.(You might save some buy pulling the wheels yourself). If I get my last Sportster sold, I was kicking around the idea of buying your old silver motorsickle. Later, Jason Chickasha Swap Meet is this weekend, and I got conned into working at EMSA. So, I can't go to the races. |

I already bought bearings from American Sport Bike to ensure that I got the good bearings as opposed to some cheaper ones, the guys on here were saying that the HD bearings are from China or something like that and after I already had one wheel messed up I didn't want to have the replacement wheel get messed up. I will just give the Tulsa Cycle Supply a call and see when they can get me in, I will have to have the tire swapped from my old wheel to the new one and have them put new bearings in the new wheel. I already have it off the bike. Just give me a call or something if you want to check out the bike. I have been riding it to work occasionally since it has been nice out so you may just see me riding it sometime. |

Who was still parked at the Starbucks last night? I rode by on my way back from work. No one was around I assumed you were across the street at Crows. I stopped for a second then moved on. |

So who was it today-Tues.- at Tulsa Cycle Supply making dyno pulls? There were 2 XB style Bikes in the parking lot - a white one and a black one. I was at the Shell station next door and I could here what sounded like a Buell making some dyno pulls. |

Hey, Did you sell your bike, or fix the bearings in the wheels? How much did you want for your S-1? I'd like to look at it. Thanks, Jason |
