I think I'm down but it might be too cold. Call me a pansy but I like to be comfortable on rides. |

Well, there's really only one; Shumate HD in the valley. The service isn't particularly good and it's really hard to get an appointment. I wish I could take my bike somewhere else but nobody will work on it. They all tell me to take it to Shumate. |

Well I think you missed it. It was the IMS in Seattle last weekend Great show lots of nice bikes, I can not believe Triumph chose not to show up, they were represented by local dealer but no factory support, what a joke! And they wonder why they are not selling enough bikes here in the US. I liked the new 696 Monster, 950 Super enduro,F800 GS was nice and a few other bikes. Was a little disappointed with the Buell staff, one of the guys knew little to nothing about the Buell line, said he was a Harley nob, the young lady was one of the best. Nice display good representation, nice to see them on there own away from HD |

Hey guys! Shumate is actually doing the neck gaiter promo! I stopped in on a whim this afternoon and they have the neck gaiters waiting and low and behold three different t-shirts for sale. Will wonders never cease? I asked and they have more stuff (hats. etc.) inbound but are waiting to see how this stuff goes before they order more. So, we need to get in and let them know we're out here. Also, Eric said they should have an 1125 for the show on 22-24 Feb. Can't wait!!! Now if we can just get rid of the blasted snow!!!! Pete |

Jimmy You need a 12 volt tender. Rode the Ma Deuce to work the other day...too nice not to. Of course the ride home the next morning was, shall we say...challenging! Any body go to the bike show over the weekend? Saw/ sat on the 1125. Funny thing is we sat on a Uly and it looks like we'll be getting an XT while I'm in the sandbox this Summer! |

You missed out Jimmy the 1125 is sweet. It will be interesting to see an XT when they make it out here. I still say the Ss would have been a better platform but I might be a little biased. Oh and keep your ears open for anyone wanting to buy an Ss I'll probably sell mine before I hit the sad box. Fuy |

Hell yeah you're biased! They need to make a straight super bike to balance all the damn street fighters they've designed and combat all the Hondas, Yamahas, Suzukis, Kawasakis, Ducatis, Aprilias, MV Agustas, etc. |

I'm gonna be in the sand box for the whole riding season except for a bit in may... boooo! and with all this freaking snow i'll be lucky to ride in may at all. Last Saint Patty's day I took a five hour ride in a textile jacket and right now i can't even take the bike out for fear of getting snowed on, again BOOOOOO!! Global Warming My Ass!! Oh, and does anybody, including redhat, know the size of the front tire on a 2001 M2 off the top of their head? MS has a front tire for sale and if its my size i wanna jump on it. Sorry about the rant i got 1 hour of sleep last night... women; can't live with 'em, can't have heterosexual sex without 'em. |

Hey Jimmy, Sorry it took so long to reply. I hate exercises!!! The front tires on our Ma Dueces are 170/70ZR-17. I'm currently running Michelin Pilot Roads and they seem to be a good compromise between grip and longevity. Pete |

Im thinking red Hat got the front and back reversed again. The front should be a 120/70r17 rear should be a 170/60r17. Fuy |

Yeah, yeah... one of the guys in the instructor course has a 250 rear tire so I guess I'm suffering from tire envy. Pete |

Hey Spokane area Buellers, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm brand new to the world of Buells. I just got my first 4 days ago. I'm starting out with an '08 Lightning XB9SX. I'm not really from the Spokane area but you all are the closest group I found on here. I currently live in Walla Walla. Any other Buellers from Walla Walla on here? |
