Ok we are going to have Erik and his band again. Erik had a great time last year at The Boiler Room. Court pretty much had the photography handled with some great shots. Last year the place was filled with nothing but Buell folk. My Bartenders are really looking forward to the Buell community. As they were the most polite people they have dealt with to date. The band will be after the Dinner so come on down and see and help Erik celerbrate his 25 years and enjoy his second passion. | ||

Kristi, I'm so sorry. The Date will be Thursday July 3rd. The Time is not settled just yet but they are playing. The Homecoming dinner is that evening as well so it'll be after. Stay TUNED I'll have it all panned out very soon. | ||

You got that right Court. To what I understand there has been some changes and it should be even better. To those that wanna know???? Come to The Boiler Room and check it out. I also need to order more poster's then I had on hand last year. Many wanted them. They will be very limited though. | ||

I can make sure to set a place up,like the covered outdoor patio out front. Thats entirely up you guys. If you'd like to make the boiler Room a tradition by all means I'll do my best to help make it happen. | ||

Not sure that night anyone is going to want to be hauling a book with them but Johnny and I have a little ceremony that's gone on since the time there were less than 100 Buell in the world. We typically repeat it at Homecoming and it'd require Dave and Erik to be there. . . this could be perfect. | ||

This is generally when I call in General Houghton to give the "pre-ride" chat. We're going to have a great time. No matter how great a time you THINK you are going to have . . . well, it's going to be A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER. PLAN IN ADVANCE. This type of event is an absolute frickin' hoot UNLESS something goes wrong. LESSON LEARNED: If you are going to drink (and this is a GREAT place to drink) . . DO NOT RIDE A MOTORCYCLE. It's really fairly simple. There will be a host of folks who, like myself, are non-drinkers and totally on board. . . we also have a couple vans rented. Here's the deal. . . . if you want to drink . . it's simple. Just stick something on here or contact someone and let them know you need a ride to and fro. In fact how cool would it be if a Badweb sponsor would underwrite like $75 worth of fuel for shuttle service. There is NO REASON to ride to the Boiler Room is you are going to drink. Just let someone know. . . we have tremendous resources at our disposal . . .use them. P.S. - Nothing in this public service announcement should be construed as me recommending any person get in a Dodge Caravan with Erik Buell. If your choices come down to that. . .WALK HOME. | ||
