I'll be doing Spring rides out in the grasslands. If you sign up on the Rider Assisstance Network - http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/boar d-auth.cgi?file=/42/42.html&lm=1200280699 then when I'm out, I can give you a call. Only registered, logged in members can access that page I linked to, so no worry about info-miners. Zack |

Vortec, Zac and all.... as I find out about rides I will post them so check back often. The big rides will be Gateway (look in the Colo Thunder Club Section) that the Denver club does and the Taos Rally in NM (put on by the Zia Thunder Club) which I had a good time on last year. If you ever get the itch to ride South make sure and let us know... Of course a few of us are going to homecoming and this will be my first time but I just can't miss the 25th. Frank |

Forecast for the weekend is 50s up here. Anybody got any plans? I'm looking at some short rides, hope to get my plasma welder going this weekend. I want to get going on gutting my muffler. Just saw pics of the new D&D setup for the 1125R and I'm not really impressed. Looks like they took an old Triumph megaphone and hung it under there. It does sound mean tho... Z |

Zac, I think I will in the garage all weekend working on the 98 S1W. I will try to get the S2 and XB out for a little spin. If you find yourself thinking about heading South let me know. You can always stop by for a cold one. Frank |

Well, we purchased a 23' Class C RV this weekend. Sleeps 4 easily. So, now we're hoping/planning on going to both Racing2SaveLives in June and possibly out to Homecoming. We have a 7x16' enclosed trailer. So, if anyone wants a lift or to caravan let us know. We will probably also be going to Taos and I'll probably ride and Dan will bring the RV and trailer (I'll probably ride in the RV on the way home). So, again, for anyone wanting to RV it home let us know. Am soooo looking forward to riding season. A little cold and windy and snowy out today. |

Julie, that is great. Lynn and I have been looking at a toy hauler. We still like to camp but there is a lot to be said about a shower and the other comforts that come with a RV. Since I am not really into track days (perfect use for a RV) we are looking something we can use in the winter to get up in the mountains but to also serve double duty as an enclosed trailer for the bikes. I hope you and Dan get to go to homecoming, it is going to be a lot of fun. Frank |

I have a 30 ft fifth wheel toybox that I will be bringing to Homecoming. Planning on hitting a Sportster event on the way the weekend before. I am kind of wanting to get a smaller rig that can be bumper hitched instead of the fifth wheel. |

Got our RV on Tues and Dan is already taking notes and lists on what he wants to do with it. Will be doing a tune up and putting in lots of little new parts this weekend. Will re-upholster the cushions to bring it up to date. It's a perfect size for our first RV. Suppose to be a nice weekend so hoping to get out on the roads and warm the bikes up. Spring is almost here!!!!! |

Anyone from Colorado heading east for March Badness V? I rode around in that area last November and I would really like to go...but I need to make a quick turn around. So I might be interested in sharing driving and expenses with someone and trailering a couple bikes out there. |

Steve, I plan on going but need to visit the folks in Jacksonville NC first so I had planned on driving out with the bike in the truck. I am in a bind. My GF wants to go home with me so I am thinking of having her fly back or fly both ways and I meet her in NC.... I am still very fluid in my plans. I have time off plan but may be able to slide them one way or another. Do you have a trailer? Frank f_skinner@yahoo.com |

Frank: I do have a utility trailer, and would have to do a little reconfiguring to set it up for two bikes, but I feel like it is very doable. I'll PM you will my phone number just in case you want to chat about it. |

That was the Denver Buell club. We did a ride to Deckers. Their was 6 of us that made the ride. We meet at the Conoco in Morrison when the weather is nice on Sat. and Sun. Times vary due to temp. Join us sometime. Last Sunday we rode down to Palmer Lake and Black Forest area. John |

Dan and I did a ride up Deer Creek, Turkey Creek. A bit of sand still. The bike was slipping and sliding several times. Good for the balance. Came home and played on the dirt bikes after our street ride. What a beautiful day, then to watch the snow and wind blowing on Sun. |

Hi Everyone, This e-mail is a little late but Im sending it out anyway. tomorrow looks like a fairly good day to ride. I was thinking about leaving the Morrison Conoco at 10:30 am and heading down to Palmer Lake for Lunch. We could return the same way or go through the black forrest and up to Franktown, CastleRock and back up Sante Fe. Let me know if you are interested. 303-973-1549 Dan |

I'm going to be there and it would be great to meet up with you all. |

Hi Kim I did call our local MRA guy, Tony and we talked about the track days here in Colo. The info I got from him is that there is a "school only" day on March 22 and again on April 18. I tried to talk my hubby into going on 3/22 but he is concerned about weather. We are definitely doing the track school on April 18. Will be joining AMA also as I guess you have to be a member to attend the MRA program. Tony also told me that they are starting up a women's only racing group. I think I'm too old for that but it does sound like fun. |

Julie, I've talked to Sasha, (I can send you her email, she could give more details about it.) she is the one who spearheaded the LoR race (Ladies of the Rockies) It sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun and it has some great sponsorship. That is one of the reasons that I was going to head up there for a few races. I heard about the school, but I don't need it, as I've already did the school and got a license from SMRI. I've been wanting to see what PMP was like and some of the Denver guys that I met down at Arroyo Seco in Feb are going to be there all three days.(3/22 MRA school only and March 23 & 24 bike only track days) |

For the Colorado Springs group I will work to start putting up rides weekly. Though at some point I won't be riding for a weekend due to work needing to be done to my bike and I have a vacation scheduled in June. |
