No Barber for me.....No spots avail, not even for owners.
STT sucks, no list for cancellations or anything, it is a show up and hope someone else cancels, and being a Tuesday I am not missing a day of pay for a "chance" I can ride.
If I would have gotten money when I was supposed to this would not be an issue, but alas I get again for being the nice guy....
New12r... Talked to AL as American Sport Bike just now. He recommended taking a look at the head temp sensor. Says the only way to test it would be to replace it though. Should I try and get one?
Ok I got the crossroads bars on my bike now but the throttle is sticking. We put them on without rerouting the cables through the instrument housing .Were any of you able to install them without problems that way?
Stealth, I rode last night with an airbox on the bike and she was smooth!!! I rode under 3k for about 30min with a gas stop in the middle and only had a little idle fluctuation. I have a laptop I am checking out tonight to trade for the KX so maybe I can get the Direct link on there and check your a/f values.
Chi stud. I would rerout the cables, and put R cables on while you are there. You dont want any unnecessary bends.
Oh, and my home cpu crashed last night so I got no internetz at the house.
Thanks Matt, I'm hoping I have my bike in time. I'm not real big on riding other people's bikes...unless of course they are under 100cc...
Charlie took his computer out to the barn last night, and it wouldn't power on, he took it back in the house and still no power on. Probably something simple.
Yeah Matt. I powered her down, unplugged everything, carried it out to the barn and blew the dust out of her, GENTLY! Plugged her in and she wont power on. I have a green led on the mother board, and the blue led in the power switch are on, but no go.
I am looking at a laptop right now with a noisy hard drive to get my by.
I do need a new cpu though, I am running a E machines that I got for $150 new. It is so loaded with pics I am surprised it even worked.
I need to check with Ann first, not sure about the boy's schedule, but as far as I know I'll be able to come out and check out your computer this evening.
Charlie, check the power supply for a switch on the back. It allows you to switch between 115V and 230V, make sure it is set to 115V. It is possible that you may have inadvertently switched it when you moved it.
Dave, I have my stock bars from my CityX that I can bring just in case Rodi doesn't get the Crossroads finished in time. At least you would have something to hold on to.
Charlie, check the power supply for a switch on the back. That was the very first thing I asked Charlie to check yesterday when he called. ...great minds think...
Has the Vista bugs been worked out?? More or less... Get those sweet LSL foot pegs on yet? Last night. They were a pain in the azz when I installed them. At least the spring was anyway. Nothings changed. Got the brake lever on as well. Many thanks Sir Shred. Now I've got to get over to the Barn and pick up the throttle sleeve.
Dave, I have the part being cut today (I hope). I sent the file to a customer of mine that has a waterjet. It might be a couple of bucks ($15-$20, maybe). I will call when I land in ATL tonight. If so, I will be home tomorrow night, late. I can hopefully drop it off for ya. I will call you tomorrow afternoon. Sorry for the delay. We are moving our office so all of OUR stuff is not powered and being moved.
