Hey all,
I rode the new XB12S at Starved Rock HD, and was impressed. A very nice package, to be sure. I got to ride it, and then switch to the XB9R for comparison. Actually got to honk on them for a nice, long ride over various roads in the area.
Like I said, it's a nice bike. Kinda' reminded me of my S1W...would I buy one? I doubt it, seeing as you can get a nice used S1W for ~$5k.

Thanks for the info, but I just changed jobs about 2 months ago, so I won't be able to make either! It is also why I have missed the last 3 meetings (or 2, since I don't think there was a July meeting). Hopefully I can make the next one.

Awww!!! Isn't it sweet, I was missed. Don't put my picture on a beer can, too many one eyed women with their front teeth missin' are lookin for me. Most of them are from that northern state with all that cheese.

All kidding aside, my wife had an ultrasound scheduled for the day of the meeting and I forgot about it. Too busy cleaning the bike.

Some Windy City Buellers will join the 20th activities planned for Wednesday, Aug 20th. The general plan is to meet at Uke's, depart at 8:00am for Hal's, join the group ride from Hal's to factory, participate in ceremony, spend afternoon riding the fine roads, return Chicago early evening......or something like that.
