Greg, Matt, et al, I checked with Buell today regarding this issue and there is a "glitch" in the system. I am not sure what your status is at this point but no tickets for the June 10th Inside Pass are currently on sale. They are not supposed to be up for at least another two weeks. Greg-I will make sure that Matt has a pass. As I find out more I will let you know. BudC |

My obsession these days is trying to replace the car I totaled last week Wednesday because of some dumb old farker .... (and yea - I am not being very PC about it .. dumb old farker !!) I have no car ... other than the red BMW in the garage with no bumpers (even if it had bumpers - it isn't quite the type of car to drive in winter)... an M2 leaking from the base gasket ... an S1 that hasn't changed it's state since October ... Sad shape of things on the bike front over here ... honestly don't know if I will even get the S1 back together in time for anything this year .. going back to a car payment for the first time in 4 years ... extra funds will be short ... But who knows .... (Message edited by tattoodnscrewd on January 30, 2008) |

Well .... let's just say that I will never buy a 92-98 3 Series BMW again ... but it is three accidents in one year's time .. Nice lil get off on the S1 late summer, as a passenger was in an accident in my friend's Chrysler ... and now ... in my 325i ... (4 years ago I flipped a 97 318ti off the freeway and landed upside down ... which is why I will never own one again... not to say I won't buy a BMW again - I did after all walk away for the most part unharmed and I shouldn't have) Yea - this year has not started off too well |

BudC, Hi, I stopped in there yesterday afternoon just to say hi and to see if you had an 1125 to test sit on. I think someone went to look for you. Waited a bit, wandered over to the used bike alley, came back, then had to go for an appointment I had. Sorry I had to bug out, don't know if anyone ever found you, but if they did then it was me that disappeared, sorry. Just didn't want to leave you wondering. Next time I'll be able to hang around longer. |

Hey Mike, Sorry about that. I was on lunch at the time and was in the back working on my Buell motor. Getting it ready to do some racing this year. Alan did come and find me but by the time I got to the front you were driving away. With regard to the 1125R, I don't have any in stock at the moment. We have sold our first three and are awaiting our next shipment. We should have one within the next two weeks. I will let you know or you can just check back with me. Again, sorry about missing you yesterday. BudC |

No problem, figured you were at lunch or delivering a bike or something. I finally got to see an 1125R today. Got to sit on it too, which is rare since these seem to get sold quickly. I think I'd have to do something with the seat on it, but will have to do a test ride first to be sure. Fairly aggressive foot position. Nice bike though. And the bloomers don't look so big in person. |

Yeah, the "scoops" really don't look bad in person. The pegs are kinda high. But could most likely be swapped for lightning pegs. Or maybe I should build a sport touring bike out of one, with the Uly seat and all. Then Buell will build one next year!

Hey "Rice", Not all of us had the financial means to do the 1125R. Even if I did, I don't think I would be racing it just yet. 104hp in my XB is going to be so much more fun. So Steve, what are you saying there? LOL BudC |

i was just figuring on the 9 again! the 1125R was fun for sure. but it was just as much fun irritating people on the 9, lol. the thing may be quicker than most 9's and a fair amount of 12's but it still forces me to be on my game and keep up the corner speeds. it pulls good but the bigger bikes will still get me in the end if i dont. i was having fun running a higher gear through most of the corners while we were running. i knew if i stayed in a higher gear i had to be better in the corners to keep up the momentum coming out. i think i made more advances in my riding technic in that one day at the track than i have been able to accomplish around here in awhile! matt, the only time i really felt like kicking up the pace was going through the carousel when you ended up getting caught in traffic. i had to good of an opening and was still carrying plenty of speed so i figured what the heck. i have alot more fun chasing than leading! i still have that image in my head of you being sideways with the front in the air coming out of that little kink in the track on the back straight. all i kept thinking was how the hell am i going to keep from running him over. i wasnt more than 5 foot off of your rear tire, still in a lean with the front a couple inches in the air. i had a feeling you were going to get after it so i had dropped her down a gear. damn that was close!!! i am just trying to justify a trip there in june AND july. not sure if i can swing both on top of going to march badness. i would have to drive there monday night, and drive back tuesday night more than likely. and bud, i am looking forward to seeing how the thing of yours runs this year! |

This just out from Richie Morris Racing Website: DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson Buell and Richie Morris Racing officially announced today their plans for the 2008 Suntrust Moto ST series. The team will field a Buell 1125R in the SST class. The pilots will be Shawn Higbee and Dan Bilansky. Both riders were with RMR last season and finished a strong second in the series championship…winning three of six races. A second team will run the GST class on a Buell XB12R. The riders will be Clint Brotz with the second yet to be named. “I can’t tell you how pleased this makes me. Bruce and I have been together since 1994 and this year promises to be our best. He is currently working with two potential sponsors that are outside the industry…so that would be great for our sport overall! We are both equally excited about the performance of the new 1125R. At our recent tests…the bike has performed flawlessly!” stated Morris. Good Luck Shawn and Dan! (Message edited by BudC on February 04, 2008) |

Brian, Sorry to hear about the Bimmer (was it the white one?) If you are still without wheels (and not too picky about them) give me a call. I have a truck sitting in my driveway that works, and a motorcycle in the garage that doesn't...want to work a deal? 414/704-1757 |

Hi, Bud! THANKS! Please, hang on to it. I will be home on 27 June. I will probably want a set of 2008 Triple Clamps installed and a set of 2007 fork springs installed at that time, too. (Has the fork-lock issue been resolved for this conversion?) Are you guys working with EcmSpy? If you are, I can have my stock ECM put back into my bike, with the "Race" mapping installed into the stock ECM. (Anybody want to buy a used race ECM?) With the "Race" mapping installed into my stock ECM, my muffler valve will be functional again. With a functional muffler valve, I will regain the mid-range power that was sacrificed when the valve was wired open, when the Race ECM was installed. Let me know! Karl |

Karl, I've done some checking for you on the triple clamps. The only issue that I have found is the possible difference in the outside diameter of the fork sliders on your bike. There may be a slight difference between 2006 and 2008. We will have to measure them to know for sure. As far as springs are concerned I'm not sure how much of a difference there was between 2006 and 2007 but, if you are interested, I have a set of Pro Series springs that I'll let you have for $35. I think they would do a better job. Let me know. BudC |

Toni now has a "Custom Paint Job" It's much more pinkish than what the pics show. The fly screen and front fender turned out to be a tie-dyed effect for some reason, but looks WAY cool in person. White Plastics(left over from my TT + a new front fender) $70 16.5 gallon steel tub $8 rit dye $12 Tie-Dyed pink bike for Toni(aka Pinkie)... Priceless.... |

It looks almost pearlescent in the pic. How'd you do that? Was it one of those "don't know how it happened and couldn't repeat it even if you wanted to" type of things? It'd be neat if you could control it. Looks good. Court mentioned one of the master painters down at Buell setting up bodywork on stands and supports and hangers to get the bodywork positioned as it would be on the bike before painting them in order to get a desired effect. |

It's definately one of those "don't know how it happened and couldn't repeat it even if you wanted to" The effect is quite cool. Ya know Bud, you wanted those number plates to be Yellow? Just dye them with some of the rit dye. It works fantastic! |

Those are going to look great on her bike. To me they kind of have a little bowling ball action going on. Steve we have got find some time to measure my forks since the weather is at least somewhat ridable. |
