We need a Meeting! We've all been slacking a bit with the weather getting better, but we still need to get together and finalize the charter, see if Latus is still on board, and talk dues / fund raising etc. Lets plan on an hour or two and I'll set up a agenda. what dates work? |

If you hadn't noticed, Saturday has become a little tougher for me to make it anywhere and I'm not sure how much that is going to change in the near future. If that is the best day for everyone else, then stick with it and I will do my best to be there. Mornings are usually better that way I can be back here to help my wife if she needs me in the afternoons. Sunday? |

I'd say for the club meetings the ride portion should be optional. We could do weeknight evening as well. I'm pretty open. |

Speaking of club membership: Today I deposited our PBR Lifetime dues into a new WaMu checking account. That's a total of $300- for the six of us PBR members thus far. What do y'all think about about that PBR banner idea, for display during meetings at Latus (if allowed) and at PIR trackday(s)? What are pros/cons of displaying both the PBR and Latus logo on such a banner, similar to our t-shirts? |

+1 on a Banner. My opinion is than if a sponsor wants to be on the banner, have it made. That said, once a sponsor ponys up a letter of sponsorship, they deserve to be on our banner, so I wonder if we should leave enough room to add (By using Velcro, or something similar) sponsor logos. Other things we should be ready to discuss: -Other fundraising ideas. -A "Beer Can" Logo Patch and / or hat. -Ways to get the word out and find new members. -A candid discussion with Latus about being the best. (I.E. Why didn't they participate in Neck Gators?, Why is there not an Inside pass Day in the PNW?) -Membership Cards, Lets make them look good... |

+1 on the Gators thing. Seems a little strange they aren't doing that after everything they said about making a big Buell push. I still want one and would rather get it from them. I know they won't make any money on it, but it would be nice to say we got them from Latus. Is the beer can logo any kind of copyright infringement or anything that Pabst might get pissed about? |

What are the membership dues to join? And what does it mean to be in the club? I mean, besides the obvious. Are there special events or bonuses you get from being in the club? |

We're working out the details on this right now. Dues are $50 and the idea is to use that money for whatever "members" decide. There may be member only events and that's what would make the difference between membership and non-membership. It's not mandatory or anything. This is actually a recent development since Latus showed some interest in our group. We still encourage riders of all levels and owners of all brands to join us for general ride days. |

Shannon, So far the $50 Lifetime membership fee get's you the ablity to vote at formal meetings (Predicatilby on things like future dues, and what events we want to apply funds to.) Right now members (at least the next three to sign up get a deeply discounted PSSR track Day on June 3rd. Jim, Let Pabst sue us, we don't have any assets tied to the club! Honestly the font is different and the patch will be a limited release, asd to flames logo seems to be the prefered... |

Man you guys have been busy. I have not been able to keep track of all these new threads. Great work guys. Yes I agree we need to set another date for the meeting. Personally Saturday's or a late Friday nights would work for me. On week nights I would not be able to get out until after 7:00 pm It would be nice to work in a day that we all feel we can make it to. To go over the charter we will need to get with Kenny to see what Latus thoughts have been on what Paul submitted. I will PM Kenny to see if Latus has any feedback. Shannon one thing Paul left off is that we also have PBR shirts for the members that sign up for the life time membership. |

i'm all for the beer can logo on anything, lets turn that into another topic of discussion for the next meeting, i volunteer to spearhead the project once we decide on the goal, ie, I'll research and respond with prices once we decide whether its a patch or a hat or something else |

I've got a guy that does embroidery pretty cheap, set up cost the most... About Banners, Anyone got an "In" on these? Looks like we could be paying upwards or $200 for a custom large banner with logo... |

I will be out of town this week end. Next week end looks good. Personally i think just have a meeting and no ride so everybody can focus on the business at hand. I myself would be thinking about the ride and lets get this over with Paul heard any thing about my shirt. OL Bill |

Regarding the PBR logo, you would most likely get a cease and desist order from the beer company before they actually sued you, especially since it's not something you'd be making any profits from. A banner would probably get attention from the beer companies before t-shirts or hats would, but again, i doubt you'd have a big lawsuit right away. Of course I'm not a lawyer so I can't guarantee that |
