that borla pipe is kick@ss! Not only does it sound great, it greatly improved my bikes low end torque as well as top end horsepower, and that means a lot when you only get a little over 6000 rpms when you hit the limiter, it use to flatten out around 5200 now it seems to increase clear up to the limiter, really glad i ponied up the cash for that pipe! |

I was afraid of that. It's too bad. It would have been a good way to get more Buell enthusiasts through the door. Oh well, I will pick mine up at Paradise. Graham, sounds like you made a good decision. Cant wait to hear it. I will probably make a run on Saturday if the weather holds up. I think its still a little cold and foggy to start the 7:00 gator meet, so any suggestions or interests? |

I might have to call in dead at work to try to make it this weekend. I rode yesterday, but it was pretty cold, not to mention that I was busy running errands so I only got about 30 miles on the odometer before I had to put her back in the garage. On the upside, I got the chance to give her a bath, got my car fixed, started going back to the gym and got my entrance exam for the military done(with nice high scores too). Got to flirt with a couple hotties and stand in line for a while too. So it wasn't a total waste of a day. So, do us Ducati riding guys not get to be members? Jeremy |

Jeremy, To VOTE or to participate in events PAID for or PROVIDED by the sponsor, or PAID for out of membership dues, you need to own a Buell and pay dues. We wrote the charter specificaly so it DID not exclude anyone from what we allready do In other words, we'll see ya Saturday??? |

Jeremy, as Paul mentioned. Nothing has changed from our normal group rides. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and ride. Plus your dry clutch helps me find my way when I fall behind...

Went to Paradise and picked up my Free Buell Neck Gator. Walking through the doors I could not believe it. They had TWO 1125R's. I had them take one out and start it up for me so I could hear it run and sit on it. Not too bad but needs a new pipe to sound right. They were also trying just about everything they could to get me to take it for a test ride. I was so tempted but decided not too because I didn't want to take the chance of really liking it knowing that I cant afford another bike. So I left. Can't wait for a no hassle demo ride. |

swede - i also checked out paradise over the weekend and was astounded to see the two 1125's there. I picked up my gator, and was "encouraged" to take the 1125 out for a spin. i was running short on time, otherwise i would have been all over that. looks like the weather will be nice on saturday, and i might finally be able to join up on a group ride. are you guys still thinking Gator's at like 7:30 or 8-ish on saturday morning? toby |

Yes I would like to see if we can get a ride going for this Saturday. The time is still TBD. I am game for early morning but it may be a little cold. |

Aron, I agree, it'll be nice to wait until warms up a little and the fog lifts, say 10 or 11? We may want to keep the ride lower in elevation too? that just doesnt sound like fun though! I know how much you and Paul loved your snow route to detroit lake and all! As always I am ready for anything just let me know when where and what time! |

due to schedule(work) I may or may not bring the clankety clutch this weekend. As much as I could use the relaxation of a good group ride, it may not work out for me, but I'm going to try. |

Guys, I need to make a run to Seattle Saturday, so I'd prefer a bit earlier. Can we compromise and do 9 or 9:30? Weather looks great, and I don't want to cut short... I for One, Will not entertain Paradise. I have a good dealer in Latus who has commited to letting me ride an 1125r on the track, where I can see what it will really do. (Or what I can do on it, as I'm sure the bike outperforms me) Toby, Great to hear from you! What are the odds you can make a June Track day? Discount still available, and I have you down in the PBR membership list. PM me for details... |

9:00 is fine with me @ Gators? Who's entertaining. When it comes time to buy I know where to go. But if I can learn more about a bike in the meantime I am not about to to ignore it. Remember I bought my Buell from Latus and had a great experience. |

I must not look trust worthy or something because when I looked last Wednesday I asked the sales man if they had one available for a test ride. He claimed there was no reason to take a test ride because you can't open it up. I just agreed and laughed to myself, you don't have to ride at wot to get a feel for the bike and most of a person's riding is within the rpm limit of break in. I don't understand the sales strategy but this was also the same guy that forced me to find a better deal on a CityX at Downtown Harley in Seattle, so maybe he was looking out for my best interest. Granted I couldn't take a ride that day anyway but he didn't even offer a card. |

Give it 10 years and they will practically roll the bike underneath you without you asking. Getting older sucks but it has some perks. Or maybe because they have had it for 3 weeks and want to move it now. (Message edited by xbswede on February 13, 2008) |
