chris, they won't hold it against you for being a native carolinian, there all pretty nice people and i'm sure a lot of them are northeners who just happened to settle here like i'm trying to do. course i'm considered a half back. started in pittsburgh moved to florida and now trying to stay in the carolinas or tennessee. anyhow, your gonna have to give me and tailspinning your number so the next time we go out riding we can drag you out along with us. did the loop today up around caesers head. a little brisk but nice none the less. were both in greer. |

Theres a possibility i might be riding on a xb9sx to mb5 Matt, that sounds interesting. A new bike in the works? Man, I was 5 minutes away from suiting up to go for a ride yesterday after lunch, when the boss called and asked me to come in to help out with a "high level visibility" project. Oh joy. Come on MBV... |

Possibly! It might not work out, not sure if i want to put up the cash for it yet. We will see though. The price is a little high, and i really am having a hard time thinking about getting rid of my cyclone, i love that bike. (Message edited by Guell on January 28, 2008) |

If anyone's still thinking about an 1125R, I dropped back by Thundertower HD/Buell today and they had 2 more in the showroom. These guys are starting to show a little promise as a Buell dealer (still haven't re-stocked their Buell T-shirts though). |

Im sticking with the m2. I would love a 1125r, but i think my insurace company would laugh at me. Seems like thunder tower is a lot more buell friendly than lowcountry... |

Hugh, What colors do they have. Low Country has a black one.Somebody has already scuffed the rear deck up. |

Charlie, 1125R's are like Model T's (so far), any color you want so long as it's black. |

Hugh, you seem to stop by Thundertower a good bit, it must be on one of your regular routes. Do you know if they have any of the new Rockers there? I wanted to see what one looked like in person. |

If you're talking about the new style XB rocker box covers and if you're in Chuck Town, stop by my house. I have a brand new set sitting on my kitchen table. Jeff |

Jeff he is talking about the new softail rocker. They look ok, but i expected them to be more comfortable. I was not impressed, seems 2 years too late. And the chopper look isnt my thing. Gsilvernale, theres a couple of us in Summerville, high has a uly and i have a m2. If you want to go riding anytime, shoot us a pm. Jeff, when are you going to put those on your bike? And when are we going riding, the weather is nice right now. |

I went for a short ride today. It was too windy. Not cold, just windy. It's amazing how fast riding in the wind wears you out. I might be able to schedule a ride for this weekend. If any Summerville guys are up for it, lets plan something. I would suggest around 10 AM on Saturday. Somewhere around 2-3 hours. I have never found any good/long twisty roads within 2 hours, but I do have a special route that takes me up to Orangeburg and back. Its all paved back roads, with very little traffic. |

Welcome to the group Gerard; congrats on the Uly purchase. I think I can make it out for a ride Saturday morning; you and Matt just want to meet somewhere in Summerville around 10 AM on Saturday? I know a lot of backroads in the area but there's just not much in the way of twisties. |

Sounds good to me. I do hope you mean the Burger King on Bacons Bridge Road near the intersection with Trolley, because they bulldozed the one at the intersection of Bacons Bridge and Trolley ~10 years ago. See you Saturday at 10 AM (Lord willing and the creek don't rise). |

gonna take a ride down to low country on sunday on the geazer glide. one of the guys i work with is trading in his bike for a road king. since it's been some 33 yrs since i've been there i thought it would be a nice ride. how is low country as a buell dealer. any shirts on the rack or anything buell. |

Drfudd, man, that sucks. Hope you feel better soon. Neverenuf, Lowcountry is OK as a Buell dealer but nothing to write home about. They keep a pretty decent stock of bikes, and they have at least one good Buell mechanic. I've seen one or two pieces of Buell clothing in the last ~2 years, and they did have a pile of the pink Buell caps until those sold out, but that's pretty much it (unless something changed in the last couple of months). |

10 days ago, they had 2 Blasts, a 1125R, 1 Firebolt and a Ulysses. The Ulysses followed me home, so there current stock is low. No Buell T-shirts or other paraphenila was found. |

They dont ever seem to have any buell clothing in stock. Have bikes towards the front though. They might have bikes in the back, i know they used to have a cityx, and a xbstt which i really really wanted. See you guys at 10 tomorrow. (Message edited by Guell on February 08, 2008) |

Mark, Where did you guys ride to? Sorry I missed it. Had one day to get my frame welded on the race bike for free. Couldn't pass up that kind of deal. How did the clutch do? Is the squeak still gone? |

Charlie, we rode up towards Orangeburg. I thought I knew most of the roads in the area but Gsilvernale introduced us to several new ones north of highway 15. It was a little cool this morning but it was really nice by about 11 AM or so. We definitely need to do it again soon. |
