You know the adage, I rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
Even more appropriate for me - I'd rather be on a boat with a drink on the rocks than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I missed out too. I tweeked my right shoulder wakeboarding Wed. after work so didn't think I could ride. Feels better today.

Hey Mike,
Yes. I am too old for WBing and that is why I always get hurt! Actually a handful of us geezers are petitioning the World Wakeboard Assoc. to start a Super Veterans class (> 50) for '08 so we might still have a reason to ride.
I have guests for the Super Bowl from out of town showing up Sat. so I'll unfortunately miss this months ride.

Yeah nice to see you guys, Rich and Paul, on Wednesday. Thursday I was on my bike for 8 hours taking the scenery in down to Stuart and back with my boss. Great Job, ride bike for 4 hours, boat for 3 hours, ride bike for 4 hours and get paid. And pretty well at that.

After looking at the March Badness schedule after you guys were discussing it last night I am actually entertaining the thought of going.
What is everyone's plans for housing and when would you be leaving and returning? I don't camp either as Frank and Mike mentioned last night. |

March Badness: I am definitely a non camper. I am flexible in terms of leaving and returning. I also want to ride (not trailer).

Rub it in Rich! Mapquest says Suches is 522 miles from Orl. I suggest riding up Thursday and back Sunday. The important factor to me is weather at that time. |

Well guys looks like i am in for sure on the backroads pecan tour...i'm gonna puss out though and ride my new,used road glide...can't afford Rich's bags...and don't think i'll be camping either..but never the less lets do it..

Yikes Mike! I don't have space in my garage for one more thing.
Between our two cars, my bike and Zachary's dirt bike, we're tapped for space.
I'm still checking to see if I can make the trip work. I have already committed to taking March 17-21 off for Zachary and Joy's spring break from school.
I'll keep you posted as I get more info. |

I might be screwed due to step son's Spring Break too. Wife informed me last night of plans to take a short vacation near the end of March. Acck! We'll see what materializes as time goes on.
