I just made reservations for the Res Ride and for Homecoming. Anyone else going? I don't have anyone to split the rooms with yet so If you are thinking about it I got a room and I am always looking for others to ride with. I would like do some type of WNY Buell meet just to get together sometime this summer. I know my weekends are filling up fast though. Anyone have any good ideas? |

Ryan,
I was just thinking last night that we need to finally get some of the WNY buellers together for something.!.
I was talking to my brother in law last night and we kicked around the idea of going to the Res Ride.
One that I have been giving some serious thought to going to is the WV Buell rally that Wolfridgerider puts on each year. It might be cool to get a WNY contingent to ride down there... |

I have the WV Rally on my calendar too! I had a wedding last year that weekend so I couldn't go but I do plan on it this year. That would be cool to get a nice group together for that one. I will spread the word. |

Ryan,
OZ666 will be going to Homecoming from the Buffalo area. I doubt I will be able to go this year. Maybe drop him a PM to hook up with him for the ride out. I don't think he is traveling with anyone, unless Crusty hooks up with him on the way out.
I will likely be talking with him this weekend and will let him know you are planning on Homecoming also... |

What day/time are you leaving for the Res Ride? And what routes are you planning on taking?
My Brother in law and I are doing our annual pilgrimage to Summit Point Raceway on the 28th. Just curious to see if we are heading out on the same roads or not... |

I am going to get out of work early on the 28th, hopefully 12:00 so I can head out by 2.
That should put me down there for dinner. Not sure on the route yet but either 62 or 219 south to get started.
I will have to shoot OZ a PM and see when he is heading out. Thanks |

So who else from wny is going to make it out to Mid Ohio? It's only about a 4 hr trip and well worth it for the money. We will be there all weekend. I saw Mike post he was going to try to make it. I wish I had my bike but camping with the fam is fun. We went to the ama museum today and checked out the COSI in Cbus yesterday. Packing up to move to the track tomorrow. Hope to see lots of Erik Buell Racing support out there!! |

Ryan,
I wish I would have seen this before I left! We could have met up there!
I spent most of Saturday putting new wheel bearings and tires on the S2. I met my Brother in law in Erie and we hung out at the rally for awhile.
We were at the races on Sunday. I got home about 1:30am Monday morning. |

Well looks like I will not be able to make it to the WV Buell Rally. I was hoping for something to give but I guess I am going to have to give in this time. Maybe next year.
We should all get together for a ride before the snow starts flying around here. I could put a nice route together down this way if anyone is up for it. Right now it is looking like it will be after labor day. |

Finally getting the bikes out of the basement, its been a long wet spring. I sure have seen a lot of Buells running around WNY in the last few weeks. I am planning on heading down to the Res Ride leaving out of here Friday night. Anyone else plan on heading down for a good ride with some good peps?? |
