Update on NEBO swag: Patches: I'm trying to see if I can get my wife to have patches made at her base in the sandbox-- the TCN's (Third Country Nationals: Filipinos, Indians, Pakistanis, etc) might be able to make 'em on the cheap. My quotes stateside have all been in the $200-$250 range with a minimum order of 50 pcs. Screw that. Shirts: I'm leaning towards cafepress for the shirts because we can order any number for around $20 a shirt, but I can't sell them through a cafepress store because the logo has the trademarked Pegasus design in it. So I'll need to figure out who wants what size and go from there. And I'm not doing any black t-shirts because all the black in the logo will disappear (and I'm too lazy to redesign it for that purpose... shut up, Eric), so I'm leaning towards white or charcoal gray (Edit: Charcoal Gray Shirts are front-print ONLY - Cafepress's rule, not mine) shirts for both the ladies and the guys. And we can even do a onesie for the youngest Bueller, Donovan (Edit: "Twitch"). Stickers: Again, cafepress... Square or oval? Whaddya want? So post up or shut up! Sound off with what you want as far as T-shirts are concerned: -male or female shirt? -size? -color? -quantity of each? (Message edited by scotty_j on January 17, 2008) |

The female shirts should be printed differently... Above the logo it should say "I ride a NEBO Bueller" With exception for Sue since she rides the Buell directly... |

Oval/square...don't matter to me - put me in for 4 stickers. Put me in for 4 patches. I'll take 2 shirts XL - 1 of them with the above mentioned female version...if that's possible, color - charcoal grey on both. |

Ok...i'm STRONGLY ( Just can't stress highly enough) against outsourcing this matter to Pakistanis/indonesians or whomever is outside of 250 miles from New England.I'll pay whatever the cost is so long as i help support my fellow American. The Buell patch my friend Scott brought back as a souvenier is the only exception. Rant off (Message edited by Ducxl on January 17, 2008) |

Patches... My best (stateside) quote for a minimum of 50 pieces will run me $175 up front-- that's $3.50 per patch, full color, fully embroidered, cut to shape. I'll do this if I can get enough of you promising to buy 90% of these when they come in; I don't need to be stuck with 40 patches sitting in my desk. EDIT: Here's how we're going to work the patches. If seven people say they want patches, they will each be responsible for 7% of the cost ($25). They will each get seven of the patches (I get the spare... deal with it). If ten people say they want patches, they will each be responsible for 10% of the cost ($17.50). They each will receive 5 patches. And so on, and so on. Here's a little breakdown: Buyers.....cost.........patches 6...............$29..........8 7...............$25..........7 8...............$21.75....6 9........... Ah hell. You get the picture. So speak up if you want in, but if I don't have at least 6 people willing to drop at least $30, I aint doing it. And then you are free to resell them to fellow BadWebbers at a ridiculous rate. The list starts now and ends Monday evening. Hat tip to Eric for the purchase plan. Oh yeah, I'm #1 on "The List." Duh. (Message edited by scotty_j on January 17, 2008) |

Oh, you Ducatisti and your CF wheels and your polo shirts... Do you hold up your pinky when you sip your tea? I kid, G. If you're looking for embroidered logos, you're on your own; these patches were a big enough pain in the butt to figure out. Cafepress doesn't do embroidery. Maybe one of those stands at the mall can hook you up-- you can bring them the graphic from the voting thread. Me? I'll take a T-shirt over a polo any day. |

ok scotty...a friend of mine owns a constrction company up here in NH so i called his T-shirt guy...here's what i got for pricing from him.: WHITE OR GRAY SHIRT FRONT LOGO-ANY SIZE BACK LOGO-ANY SIZE $14.00 PER SHIRT the only factor that would raise the price is if we added more colors to the logo(but that wont happen) and they do embroidery shirts and other stuff. the company was called BETTERLIFE in manchester. guys name was JILES cool guy australian. i like australians they all started out as english criminals(sorry off topic) just in case you wanna give him a call he may even be able to do the patches didn't ask him about it.1-888-200-8033 |

Torque- you can run with it if you want, but I bet the dude has some sort of setup fee or minimum order, and you see what a big deal that has become with the patch. Cafepress lets you make whatever you want, whatever volume, and one t-shirt is always $17.00. I'll post up a link to order T's & stuff over the weekend. |
