Hi Eeveryone! Sitting here playing on my new laptop and wanted to say Hello. My loving hubby got me a new digital camera for my b-day so now I am set. As soon as I figure how to post pictures watch out! The computer class I am starting next week will help me learn all new stuff. This could be a dangerous thing for everyone. We are still alive here in Vancouver, WA. Sure do miss you all. We wanted to make the IMS in Dec but just got back from Calif. Looking forward to seeing you all at Duane and Lisa's for the races. Deb, thanks for the call I will try and reach you this weekend sometime. How is the foot? Have my fingers cross for when you go to the doctors on the 8th. Take Care, Loni |

Her name is Deuce. She is now 3 1/2 yrs, 45 lbs. Cute as a bug, loving and gental, but can be very protective when she needs to be. The way I got the pictures to upload here is before down loading on the computer I had to make it small on the camera. I thought I could some how do it on Bad Web before posting. I think that is why they are a bit blurry. I will figure it out if it is there. The class I am taking at the college is really going to help me out alot with doing this stuff. Like I said before this could be dangerous for everone! (Including you Bob!) Loni |

Bob The 2008 AMA Superbike race at Infineon Raceway is scheduled for May 16th - 18th 2008. Does that sound right for Sonoma? Hope so. Jimmy (Message edited by funjimmy on January 06, 2008) |

Grrrr! Why can't people do what they say they will do! Seems I was hasty with sharing the news about the Triumph. The ba$tard hasn't returned my calls since last weekend and I can't figure out why. (He had a preemie baby in the hospital for the last month and was spending evenings there until 2 am so I was cutting him some slack but if he can't return a phone call in a week something has gone sideways, I'm afraid.) That's twice in a month that someone has made a commitment to me one day and ignored it the next but the last time was my ex and I should have expected it from her. Jaci was really looking forward to having such a cool ride. Not that the Beemer isn't also cool, Bob. Its just cool in a different way. Let me know when it sparks up and I'll be right down. The Daytona party is happening again at Duane and Lisa's? That would be March 8th? (Message edited by Sportyeric on January 06, 2008) (Message edited by Sportyeric on January 06, 2008) |

Lonitaylor: The better way to reduce a picture's dimensions for posting to the forum would be to download the full size version from the camera to the PC and then resizing it on the PC using an image editing program and saving the smaller version as a different named file. If you don't already have a good image editing program, The GIMP is a great one and it's free. http://gimp.org/ The GIMP may be a bit daunting due to it's myriad of functions and options, but just click around and play with it until you figure it out or you can ask your computer instructor about it (it's similar to Photoshop which most people knowledgeable about computers are familiar with) or you can PM me. |

Loni, Chris, Bob & Mike You are the SPLASH 2008 gods and I have come before thee to plead for your forgiveness and scheduling mercy. Seems that the wife has booked a Lake Chelan summer vacation from July 19th – 27th. Booked and paid for without consideration for SPLASH 2008. Grounds for divorce, no doubt, but I’ll give her another chance providing you can accommodate my limitations. Did I say PLEASE? Thanks Jimmy |

Well, that's in Washington state so you can just zip up to Mt St Helens and meet us there then return to your loving family with new tales to tell. So either weekend is good for you. |

I want to be an astronaut when I grow up! Do you think they make spacesuits in extra-tall? SPLASH? Any weekend is good for me. I just wait until the date is posted then plan the rest of my life around it! Keep up the good work, Bob. I'm thinking of a Tacoma trip the first weekend in February (as the weekend before is the Vancouver IMS.) The weekend of January 19th is also a possibility if she's brought to life by then. |

Sportyeric: All spacesuits are custom fit for each astronaut. All: Any more info about SPLASH? Like, what/when/where/why is it? Last one optional as we don't really need no stinking reason to ride. |

Hey Paul, You got that new 1125R yet? Tell those guys at the dealer to be careful filling the oil. Seems the manual has a conflict in checking oil level. Just a heads up. Oh, you're gonna LOVE this bike! Ron, Lovin' his 1125R in Seattle |

SPLASH... Sport Laps Around St. Helens. This will be the 11th year for this ride. We base in Woodland WA, and totaly OWN the Mt. for the weekend! Some of the best, most unique roads you'll ride in this lifetime. Be there! Loni, I use a piece of free software... for Mac's, however. Paul sounds like he has the right info, just keep tryin' doll. Down at Desperation today, lookin' to rebuild, or replace my rear shock. THEY CLAIM HARLY DOES NOT EVEN HAVE ONE. GAVE THEM TO SOME OUTFIT CALLED 'VINTAGE MC PARTS'. What the f uck, over? God they treat Buell owners like shit.... |

Sound_uly: No, damnit... Still waiting for Insurance check. I expect it Friday (tomorrow). What sort of conflict is there in checking the level? Sparropie: Cool, thanks for the info and I'm definitely in on that... I've already been up to St. Helens on my XB12R and I'm looking forward to going back on my 1125R. |

The owners manual instructs to check engine oil level with the bike on it's sidestand but the correct method is to check the oil level with the bike upright. Seems simple enough but H-D of Seattle overfilled my bike due to this error. I do have to commend them in their response to the problem. The service manager gave me a call to discuss and then sent someone to my house to pick the bike up. When they are done they are going to bring it right back. That is pretty darn good service! There is a whole thread devoted to this topic over in the 1125R forums on this site. Lot's of good info in there but lots of trash talk to. Cheers, Ron And I'm not a bike Who-r B(o)(o)B! I just have a bike problem. |
