It's been at least a month since I've been to Arizona. I think. Anyway, give us a call and we'll figure out when we can finish yanking out the motor. Shouldn't take too long. Do you have an engine stand you're planning on using? If not, let me know and I'll bring mine. | ||

Greg. Engine pull was pretty easy. I had most of the stuff disconnected when a friend swung by to give me a had. Helps that the friend is a Buell engineer (thanks again Jason). An engineer may be over kill, but it never hurts! At this point I'm about 95% sure I'm going the 12 crank route. With Hal's racer discount, I'm looking at somewhere in the area of $750 to $1000 depending on the route I go. 08 crank for sure. That's parts only. Home status update, The house has landed! Went through it yesterday and it is moving quick now. Were thinking we won't make xmas though. If anyone is driving by and happens to see My ford 150 or kelli's grand cheroke in the yard, stop on in and say hi, and check it out! The garage is going up today. I was there for about an hr this morning and it went from nothing to all the walls standing! | ||

Rocco,I did that.... Motocross and Snowmobiling. That did my knee's no good long ago. I've broke bones and such but this seems to just hinder me and hinder me. If you guys wanna catch a great game,the Bears and the Pack tomorrow. And of coarse you guy's are all welcome for New Years. But please let us know so we can get something together. | ||

Hello all, Fiery and I rode the dunes today. And Fiery REALLY had fun! Thanks Jon for your gear, it works great, she even tested it, rolled the quad in a low speed high side, the sand is soft, and that was good. More duning after Christmas day. How about those Bears???? Merry Christmas to all! | ||

So what did everyone do for the New Years??? Whatcha get for X-Mas??? I got some Camera stuff that I had wanted for awhile. No bike stuff got enough of it. Hoping this is a better year for Andrea and I as far as Time!!! If not I'm thinking of getting out for awhile. Doing World Of wheels again Jan.11th-13th for a favor for the guy that painted my bike. | ||

Went out with the Bowers for New Year's. Found out Heather knows every word and dance step to "Baby got Back" by Sir Mixalot. Also every word to Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby". Jason should be very proud! It was a fun evening for sure! Christmas? Let's see. I got some $$ which is always nice and already gone. Picked up a conversion kit for my welder so I can weld aluminum, so it was well spent. Got some tools and a bench grinder from Karri and Jon. No bike stuff for any of us this year, which is kind of unusual. Going to see the Bucks play the Suns at the end of January. That was one of Jon's gifts. He's a huge Phoenix Suns fan, so I got tickets right by their bench. He also got a Remington 22 cal rifle. Dana, what the heck do you mean by "getting out for a while?" How much more school does Andrea have? I give her a ton of credit. Can't imagine working the hours she does and doing school work on top of it all!  We had some major plans of selling our trailer and getting a toy hauler this coming race season. But we've been having second thoughts about that. Reason is we want to move within the next year. Arizona? I frickin' wish! No. Out into the county. A somewhat bigger house, but the biggest idea for that is an out building for the bikes. Nice pole barn with Air, heat, bathroom, cable, telephone............crap!! I'll just live in there! Also still up in the air about what to do with the race bike engine. Was thinking of the 12 crank route , not too sure now. 1050 kit. But from what I've been told, it really isn't worth the money. I opened up the motor, and it still looks like new. I may just save the money. New piston rings and a new starter. Thinking of doing a race school for licensed racers. I'll probably knock more time off my laps with that then anything! Sounds like ya's had fun. I offered to hook up with you guy's before the Holiday's for New Year's but got no response from anyone. I think we spoke about it at the bar when you guy's came for the game. Andrea has another year left. She is having a great time doing what she's doing. As far as getting out...Its in alot way's no fun owning them anymore. Andrea's schooling,I'm starting to get busy by subcontracting to a large service in Milwaukee for work in my area. I'm just plain starting to get burned out on the bike thing. Its not fun like it used to be. I'll do Homecoming then we'll see how I feel after that. To much money invested to leave it the garage all the time. I'd rather take a loss on it now then a greater one later. We'll see. Call us sometime. |
