Bobby, Buellnuts, it is always so hard to find a Christmas gift for you and Deb. But this year I lucked out. It will be coming to you COD.
You can fill the bathtub or set up the slid. Or just invite everybody over for a good old reach around rub down! |

So they decided to just total it, eh? I can hardly wait to 'test' one of them babies! And the word went out, to all their best buddies... "twist it hard, with the rubber side down" I am glad to welcome a new year to town! It is much more real of a celebration to me than than the convoluted myth of the birth of Jebus. I think that's why I feel so hollow this time of year. I am not so much infused with the christmas spirit as confused by it... Love to all the good people of the world, sez I. |

Let me just chime in with some riding experience on that 1125R, it has a lot of go, and a cr@p load of STOP. That 8 piston caliper will endo that bike at a mere 20 mph. There is already one out there that has been down and sidelined from that brake performance. Brand new calipers, pads and rotors take 200 miles to scuff in, and must be EASED in with two finger action. Sounds like common info we all know, but the guy that did it was an experienced sport bike rider with years of riding. DAMHIK (Dont Ask Me How I Know) |

Allen at Destination was saying the same thing about the front brake; very sensitive! He rode the 1125R around Laguna all day a couple/few months ago. |

My 1125R has been at Destination H-D in Fife since Saturday... I went to go check it out and BS with the sales dudes late Saturday morning. That's when Allen told me about his 1125R experience that I posted above. Unfortunately a mirror was damaged during shipping, so they have to get that replaced. I hope the replacement mirror arrives soon because I sent the notarized title release paperwork to the insurance company already and my old loan should be paid off this week. Then I just have to do the paperwork on the new bike and ride home. Check this out; Destination offered me a gift card just to let my bike sit in their dealership for a week so they could try and sell more of them... |

Paul, say the word when you get your bike and we can figure out a ride, I bet 'cha. Ya know I just realized we haven't really mentioned the see-saw lately... probably for good reason now that I think about it... so HAPPY NEW-YEAR TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND LOVERS...XOXO |

"See-saw"... ROFLOL! Yeah, I'll be sure to let y'all know when I've got it and maybe even be organizing a ride that I lead myself after I get accustomed to the new wheels... I've been riding the V-Rod so much that I'm actually used to it and it doesn't hurt my left hip any more. Speaking of, there's a couple of New Years day rides going on today. Check out these PNWRiders.com forum threads: Auburn area ride after meeting for breakfast Ride around the Canal for those on/near the peninsula North Seattle ride |

Happy Winter Solstice to all! Just one more party to get through and I can start to sober up. My divorce party is taking place tomorrow night!WH0000HOOOO! And in other news: In spite of the lust that the 1125R incites in me, I've followed the lead of many friends here who've abandoned the Buell line for Triumph. Not that I'll be getting rid of the S2 nor the Sporty (which is starting to be reassembled). But we have added to the fleet with this low-mileage beauty. (5,000 miles on the clock!)http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/mcy/502649884.html
And not to worry, Bob and Deb. There's still room in the shed for your baby too. In fact, I have a new goal. Not a New Years resolution but a bit longer term. With the S2 and the Sportster being V-twins, the Beemer an opposed twin, the Bonneville a parallel twin, I only need a MotoGuzzi Lemans and an early 90s Ducati 900SS and I'll have the full set of engine configurations for twins! (Then I can start on varying V angles.) |

Sweet bike Eric! Is that one for Jaci? Hi.... My name is Ron. I have a motorcycle problem. There.... I said it. I've been a bit naughty myself and, since Santa did actually read his naughty list and didn't bring me one, I went down and got it myself.
And Bo(o)bnuts, just to clarify, no Duc was sacrificed in the acquisition of the afore mentioned motorbike thingy. Hope everyone's holidays were terrific and here's a big hoping everyone's New Year is healthy and prosperous! Ron (Polishing his new bike.) |

I ain't seen ya for a couple years, and that just ain't right! I like your garage! Where do you live again...? And as for you Eric Really I'm just getting ready to rebuild her shocks, (all 3) do the intake seals, steering bearings... anything else I can think of and afford while the bitch is torn down and hangin' by her heels in BobNuts garage. The truth is that she likes to be tied up and hung...
See ya all sooner, Galen |

Where do I start….LOL. First is Galen. You would be WAY to fast on that thingy and you know it. Betty gives us all the opportunity to share in the après ride stories, laughing and drinking in the pub at the end of the journey. You can’t (don’t) want to give that up. BTW, is that the wife, hanging around your shop? Ron How sweet it is……… Are you going to swing by the SPLASH ride this year? You better! Congratulations! Oh yah…Galen and I are coming over to spend a little time in your garage for some much needed moto-therapy. You have a bee fridge in there don’t you? Eric Is the Bonnie home yet? I’m coming by tomorrow and want to sit on it. Cheers Fun J |

But Galen..... you and Betty are so damn sexy together! and you are right, it's been way to damn long. We will need to get together for a ride down south soon. It won't matter if'n I'm ridin' a friggin' rocket, I won't be able to keep up wit' ya. Paul; I picked her up from H-D of Seattle. I put a dibs on the bike about a month or so ago and she came in over the holidays. Picked her up yesterday and she's all warm and cozy in the garage cuddled up next to the Duc. Jimmy; There is always cold beer in my fridge and you's guys is always welcome.... Splash is definitely on my calendar of events this year fo' sure! Ron With a motorcycle habit. |

Sweet ride, Ron. Congratulations. And a couple of sweet rides there, Galen. The Bonney is for Jaci. At the moment I have a verbal agreement to purchase, which is a bit nerve racking. But the buyer has a valid distraction, so we wait. And if Betty is tied up in Bob's garage, that would be why my Beemer is not making any progress, I guess. |
