I know there are a few buellers from the area that post here. Let's keep this part of the board alive this time. Who's planning on Republic of Texas rally this year? |

Chadleys1, I remember talking to you about a real nice S1 that you had for sale. After I totaled my X1-don't ask- I bought a '96 S1 and really like it. I don't get to ride as much as I like, but I'm planning on making Thrills this year. |

I think I put it up for sale two or three times now, but I always lose my nerve after a few days, and take it back. The Austin Motorcycle Mafia doesn't like the "selling my bike" stuff very much. I took some abuse for it the last time I posted it for sale. Looks like I'm stuck with it, haha. You should ride your S1 to one of the Thursday night meetings, last Thursday looked like a Thrills in the Hills reunion!! email me with any questions

Nawww...I watch this area to Chadley (aka jackass) hahahaha Nice looking S1 by the way. I'm still looking at the ROT event in Austin. Anyone else? I'd rather see the event a bit then hit the hill country. I have friends in Austin to stay with. I haven't forgot the exhaust mount Dan. I may get to it this weekend. The new hanger kit I got ($0) was missing the bolts and such. DAve |

My wife and I will be at the R.O.T. Rally again this year. I'll be the fat guy on a Black on Nuke Blue 98 S1W and my wife on a Snap Red M2 w/chin fairing. Both bikes have Force exhausts so they shouldnt be to hard to spot. We are coming from Athens, TX a small town about 65 miles S.E. of Dallas. Hope to meet some of you there. Kent |

It would be cool if we could figure out a spot to park the Buells in a group, even if everyone was coming and going on their own. I don't know of anything Buell oriented that is planned for ROT, but I will do some digging and post what I find. |

Dudes, Ain't it about time we organized a Texas gathering of BadWeBers? I'm just not into the big mongo rallies as far as riding events go. I enjoy looking at all the bikes though. Would y'all be up for a track day get together? We could rent the track at Oak Hill raceway and have it all to ourselves or all converge on one of the normal track days at TWS in Bryan, or Motor Sports Ranch in Cresson. It would give us a chance to wear through the edges of our tires before the centers. A rare feat in Texas. |

Blake, I'm all for a track day. I was at Lone Star Track Days event yesterday at TWS and it was great. I was the ONLY BUELL THERE ! had to been over 100 bikes. It was super anyway, but it would be cool to have a bunch of people from this forum register and show up at one of their days. I'm sure they would like it too. ! |

Blake, I am under strict orders from both my work and my wife not to crash this year(I've crashed twice per year in last 2 years) so I have to pass on the track days but we are doing Thrills in the Hills again this Sept and it would be a hoot to finally get to meet the man behind the greatest Buell site in the world! Because of this site I have met so many great people and become addicted to these damn bikes!! |

Blake, I think that is a good idea. I can definitely get the word out to the Austin area Buell guys/girls, once things are ironed out. Roadrunner, "Thrills" is scheduled for the last weekend of September plus Monday. It should be awesome. Your post is funny, dude. Why so many wrecks at Thrills, every year!?
