The Colorado Buell Riders (CBR) is being formed to bring together all Buell riders in Colorado to include the Colorado Thunder Club, Colorado Rockies Adventure Group and the Altitude Riders to share in the great riding we all enjoy here in Colorado. This is not to replace or compete with any regional groups; it is just a way to stay informed. We also have fellow Buellers in AZ, NM, KS and TX that may want to join us on some rides. There are several sections so we can advertise events, post pictures and pass on technical information like “Buell friendly” shops (whether independent or factory) in Colorado and generally just help each other with Buell related issues. As with any Buell group this is a loose organization. Anyone with ideas please pass them on to the rest of the Colorado Buell owners on the BadWeb. The Altitude Riders, Colorado Thunder Club and Colorado Rockies Adventure Group are all great groups and I encourage everyone to get to know those folks as they have great day rides and events in each of their respected areas and around Colorado. Please follow the rules of the Bad Weather Bikers Web site and remember we are their guest. |

I made up some business like cards for the CBR. We used these with the Altitude Riders in this area to get the word out about our group. The template is too big to post so email me directly and I can send the file to you (f_skinner@yahoo.com). All you need is a printer and those ready made business card sheets to print and separate. It just has the name, a logo and the BadWeb URL so other Buellers will know how to get a hold of us, if anyone has other ideas let them fly. Here is what it looks like Frank |

Hey guys, I just called two local dealerships about the arrival of the 1125r. One said they will be getting one in around spring time and the other said they expect one in Jan. I did inquire about a waiting list and the second store said they had about 100 people on it. Of course these dealerships are mostly HD dealerships so it is hit and miss with them sometimes. I think the dealerships North of me should be getting them soon. Who is getting a 1125r in Colorado? When do you expect it? I do not think I will be buying one soon because of the other bikes I have but I cannot stop looking at it on the web site and thinking WOW! Frank |

"CBR is a statewide Buell organization to bring Colorado Buell Riders together. Visit us on the Bad Weather Bikers web site at: www.badweatherbikers.com./buell/messages/37/194028" Though the URL still works, at least in MSIE, there's an errant period before "/buell". If you like I can create a more memorable page address that will redirect to this one, something like... BadWeatherBikers.com/CBR or BadWeatherBikers.com/cbr No need for the "www." and all the message board numbering. It's done... |

Jammer, when do you expect to have a XB12XT in? I would very much like to compare it to a XB12X. Also, can you tell me if the top luggage bag comes off easy? I never have liked that top bag and would like to be able to remove and install it when needed. Frank |

We are just now placing next quarters orders for bikes, Harley & Buell. Expect a week or so after confirmation with dates from the BMC deadline to order, 30Jan. By 11Feb for sure. Top luggage coming off easily is a relative thing. Wrenches and time are the same as to install it, no quick disconnect system. But my guess is that with Buell canceling the true dirt bike program, they will be working on a host of accessories for existing models; dual sport as well as sport bikes. They are obviously absent with accessories for these type bikes. ~jammer |

Ok, thanks for the info. I mentioned it to the better half today. I told her I think Buell has built the bike I wanted when I got the XB12R. Although I enjoy the XB12R I think I would enjoy this one more. I am not sure if I will be able to swing it but the street setup, GPS, electric ports and hard bags that look like they can hold 4 cases of beer is very appealing to me. I imagine a lot of S2 and S3 guys will think the same way. |

After 01Feb, go on www.Buell.com and there should be a survey. Completing it gets a coupon for you that, taken to a Buell dealer, nets you a free Buell neck gaitor. ~jammer |

The times they are a changin' Dave(Jammer) is now at Sun H-D and Mikey Coury is at Thunder Mountain(they don't do Buells). I am at NRHS and barring parts acquisition issues we work on Buells and Sportsters. Hot rod stuff. I port and polish heads. High Country has gone WAY downhill, I won't recommend them at all anymore. I don't go there. Pretty sure nobody ever comes in here but I felt the need. Zack |

Hey Zack, I'm listening. Thanks for the update. If I had the money I would put Reba Lucille in your hands for a week. |
