Nice job Paul! Thats the road I thought you were talking about. It is the road we hit after the one I is talkin' about. Your's is sweet, and has a Starbucks right at the top. I definatly don't take them curves at 15, ( well mabey the last one...) it is a much higher speed run. The road I am talking about looks like it is right in that curley spot by 33 ave. It's called McMurry Drive N.E. It is befor 11th., and after the road with the lights that goes up to NE tacomatose. It's the light after that. You can zoom all the way in and get a good look on that Google dealio Any news on your bike? I saw Desperation has the '08 Buells. But not the one I want to test drive! Can you say 1125R? School is out for Thanksgiving, and I was out riding today. Only thing that could have made it better would be some ridin' buddies... sooner, Galen (Message edited by sparropie on November 20, 2007) |

Galen I’m envious. You’re out riding and I’m just dreaming of riding and hangin with my riding buddies. That road you speak of should be our SPLASH warm-up! The quick (but not so accurate) temp conversion is Celsius double and add 30 degrees = temp in Fahrenheit. Oh ya! You’re sooooo right, it’s amazing we can get out and do the type of riding we do and not get tossed in the big house. Hope to see you for the IMS. Keep safe Jimmy |

McMurray is quite fun... I used to take that road a lot when we lived in Federal Way. Below is an updated route plan which includes McMurray. I just dropped off the insurance check this afternoon. Should be about 3 weeks to get parts and the estimate says 14 hours labor. However, they've got around 70 bikes in the shop... I'll own 2 wheels again soon though... Just signed papers tonight to buy my wife her Christmas present... A 2007 Harley-Davidson VRSCAW V-Rod in Deep Cobalt Pearl I get to break it in! Here's the map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=1690 3327251621241141,47.243136,-122.435872%3B566318066 8029039732,47.291226,-122.405881%3B147711969086629 44047,47.298009,-122.432581%3B8228232191567153954, 47.335870,-122.312551&time=&date=&ttype=&saddr=S+2 1st+St+%4047.243136,+-122.435872&daddr=Browns+Poin t+Blvd+NE+%4047.291226,+-122.405881+to:47.298114,- 122.432724+to:S+Dash+Point+Rd+%4047.335870,+-122.3 12551&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=2&sz=17&via=1,2&sll=47.2 98638,-122.431061&sspn=0.004984,0.010697&ie=UTF8&l l=47.298092,-122.367783&spn=0.159492,0.342293&z=12 &om=1 |

FunJimmy! I am sure plannin' on seeing YOU at IMS! (-sheesh- Blake has been playing with the BadWeb again... all kind of red squiggles everywhere...) Yea them roads are great, however very short. However very close to home! I only know the temp. deal 'cause we just went over it in class. Gotta be able to read one of them metric thermometers, don't ya know. C=(F-32) divided by 1.8 ... (this stupid mac don't have a division sign) HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL sooner, Galen |

An interesting couple of days. Jaci and I are scanning Craigslist for a vintage 400cc learner bike for her and my daughter. We're also looking for a Sportster for Jaci. So Jaci spots a 1993 Ducati 900SS for a smoking price and tells me I need a third bike! I should have gone to look at it on the way home. It was sold by suppertime. However, now that we've established I need a third bike, the 1125R is technically approved. LOL. In the meantime, we've noticed that bikes are way cheaper south of the line. In spite of my travails getting the S2 home a few years back, I've determined to do it again. So I'm looking at a Sportster for Jaci just west of Tacoma and another in Mount Vernon. I may buy them both and bring them up at the same time and sell one in the spring for the start of my 1125R fund. So this may all be happening this Saturday but I'll need to store the bikes in the US while the export permits are processed. I think I might know where I could store the Tacoma one (Bob?) for a couple of weeks. Is there anyone with a little spare space for a week or two around Mt. Vernon? |

I guess the above picture explain's our diverse brand of rides. Honda, Triumph, Ducati, Buell, BMW. I wonder if other area's have evolved into such a mixed bunch of riders? Bob |

Yep, that wall is exactly 1.5 blocks N of my front door on the same side of the street. Glad they finally did something with that property. Kim, owner of Le Donut across the street, is a great gal. She's had me fix her computers a couple times in exchange for donuts and pot stickers. |

I think my wife and I could stop by... We don't drink alcohol, but do enjoy a well-crafted root beer (pretty much anything but Barq's). |

Ok, I'm with you guys on the road up around Browns Point. Been that way far too many times. I hesitate to take the Buell that way, there is usually a cop at the bottom of Marine View when I come through. . . |

TerribleTim, I don't speed at the bottom... Paul, you will have your opinion of the N.W.-F.O.G.G. drop precipitisly if you actually meet us in person, sadly to say. When the Northern and Southern tribes get together, "Pack up the Babies, and Hide the Old Ladys" is the general response in whatever neighborhood we're in.
