A great day to be out. No traffic and nice clean roads. My favorite time of year. Did not see many bikes out ,must have been to cold. I can understand if you live in Atlanta that it would be cold coming and going. The days are short and when the sun goes down it gets cold in a hurry. I use electric gear and it makes riding in the fall and winter a lot more fun. JC is at Carolina Motorsports Park with his son Tony. He has called me about 100 times today trying to keep me informed. The good thing is he left me his Uly and I am loving it. Have decided that if there is any way possible I will get me one. |

You don't buy your oil filters from Wal-Mart too do you? Just because it may be cheaper somewhere else, doesn't mean your still getting a deal. My 3%er's enjoy my 10% off for being Badweb members too. How many e-bayers will do that for you? just razzing you a bit. Smokescreen (Message edited by smokescreen on November 25, 2007) |

Trouble shot the M2 yesterday. It took all of 30 seconds to find the charging problem. Pulled the stator wires down to ring out the coils with an OHM meter and found the leads worn thru the conductor... 1 wirer = 2 guys in the dirt and a dead deer, go figure. Feeling better and healing up well but the concussion has me feeling dizzy sometimes. That was a more natural feeling in my youth but for another reason! |

Smokescreen, Can ya get me Ducati parts? I'll need a racer discount too. lol!!! I need to do a tune-up on my little air cooled Duc' After racing all year long which for me was 12 races and 12+ practices it finally needs a tune-up. I can't complain spending $350....That for the valve adjustent, belts, oil, filter, plugs. I might need to inspect the stock clutch too after all that racing. You know I'm play'n!! I love my Buell, at least my first one. It was 30,000 miles dependable fun. I just don't know whats up with the 12R. I know, Blah...Blah..Blah.. M_R, Did Tony get his racing license yet? How did he do at CMP? Heard their was a few crashes in the a.m, cold tires and a cold track will do it every time. I was wondering, did anyone gain weight over the holidays? I know I did!!! At least 3-4 lbs and its all in the belly. Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. |

It was a bad weekend at the track. Lot of wrecks. Tony did not wreck but came close. He rear ended a guy and almost crashed both of them. Almost being the good thing. The track was cold and sandy. He has not gotten his racing license. He really needs to get it done before spring. I really want a Uly even though I know it will slow me down ,which might be a good thing. |

New12-you have mail! Did anyone everfollow through on the 3% patches? I've got my Buell garage shirt at the C3'rs shirt maker getting some stitchwork. 3% would make a nice addition to the shirt. Just asking. Can anyone email me the file? Maybe I could get the stitch lady around here to make a good copy of it. |

Hey Jim, Actually, if you will go back thru the posts from just this past week (maybe 10 days) Glitch posted one for me. Don't worry, you don't have to read all the posts. It's big and easy to see. Or do a search and look up my posts since I only post here and a lot less than Glitch. I asked and then glitch posted it either that same day or the day after so it shouldn't be that hard to find. |

With regards to patches, there has been some success. Deadduck, is doing some work on them now. Deadduck, sorry I've not had time to call, things here have been a bit upsidedown. I'll give you a ring this evening. Everyone, wish me luck! Things at Coke have changed. Coke had decided to have all IT under one umbrella. Not my umbrella, so at the end of this year, my contract will no longer exist. After spending the past week or so in shock, I've been trying to remember how it is one gos about getting a job. Things have changed a bit in the past ten years or so. I have found that my old job at Millenium is open, I'll be calling them today. If I'm able to go back there, it'll mean a pay raise (w00t!) and a commute down to about a half an hour, with no interstate! So, wish me luck! |

Glitch, it's not so bad, as long as you keep your options open. Get on Monster dot com. I know E*Trade is always looking as well as Checkfree. Checkfree is more a mainframe animal, but E*trade is more up your alley. An Indian accent doesn't hurt either. Checkfree is in Norcross or Duluth. Let me know. I have friends there. |

> 1 wirer = 2 guys in the dirt and a dead deer, go figure. Damn, life is funny like that. At least you've got a good sense of humor about it. > Ya'll wish me luck... Good luck! It's probably just all that old shrapnel from 'nam. > So, wish me luck! Nah, you don't need luck. You've got rugged good looks. Not that it will help your commute any, but Cox probably has IT positions open: http://www.cox.com/CoxCareer/ Our IT department grows continuously. I'm happy to give you a reference, of course. |
