Nick, After searching the Knowledge vault, I also assumed the Speed sensor, but that seems to be more common with the pre '04 bikes because they changed something on the newer ones. The strange issue with the lights also has me worried. I can't find any rubbed wires so I'm concerned that my Voltage Regulator or Stator is going out too. As far as parts, if you need them fast, call Andy at Appleton or Al at American sportbike and they usually can get most of them to you as fast as you want. |

Nick-You can always order express delivery from us over the phone with a credit card. If we ship by UPS ground, it should arrive at your place the next day. If we don't have it in stock, we can always special order something, but that does involve and additional charge. Regular orders placed usually take 5-7 days. JM- call Josh next week- we can sometimes pick up a second bike when we're going to Albuquerque. The bright/dim can be indicative of a regulator overcharging. You could also check the connections at the white wire at pin #8 on the grey side of the ecm, and the system ground, the black wire at pin #11 on the black side of the ecm and ground #1 which I think is located under the seat. A tech says it sounds like a loose connection. Theres also a connector where the vss plugs in. If you call Josh next Tuesday with your info, I'll bet he can figure something out. I know there's a test for the regulator. |

Murrae, I know if it's in stock, a dealer can get it out to me. If it was in stock in Santa Fe, I would drive up and get it... When the dealer has to order it, it can take too long. Imagine if you could just point, click, and order direct... Anyway, I'll stop complaining. I hope my speedo problem gets fixed when I replace the sensor.... Kim, I forgot all about the shirt. If you reminded me before the track day, I would have brought it. I have a whole box of them in my garage. I guess we should keep selling them, eh? ;) |

There is a supermoto track day sunday.... Tracy offered me a bike so I could try it out. So of course, I've gotta try it. I'll let ya all know how it went. Of course it goes without saying, I'm going to luv it. To date I haven't found anything with motorcycles that I didn't like. |

Well, take it from me, using one to move sucks. The weight capacity is too small and balancing the loads is tough. |

Well, I don't know about using it to move. However, that supermoto stuff is a friggin blast!!!!! I need to get me one of those!!!! CJ you gonna be around tomorrow? I'm going to be down there, for some other stuff. I could pick up the shirt while I'm there...since you don't have time to ride with me this week...... |

If you want to swing by the hotel, I'll take it with me to work. Just come by the security office. It's on the south end of the building by the loading dock. If I'm not there, they'll radio me. What size do you want? I think they fit a little small. Either mine is shrinking or I'm putting on weight again! |

CJ- Wasn't me the other day- we were on our way to Pagosa to celebrate Mabel's birthday. Kim- moto is a gas....if you bought a 400+ cc dirt bike, some 17's and a big rotor for the front you end up with two bikes for the price of one! Then you could go dirt riding with us. |

Murrae - That is what Tracy was telling me after we rode. All I would need is two sets of wheels, and I'd be set! I've really been wanting a dirt bike since we did that trip to Montrose |

NM Buellers, looks like the girl and I will be heading your way this Thanksgiving. We have no plans except to load the bikes in the truck and go South until it is warm enough to ride. We both just need to get out of Colorado and our jobs for a while. Do you guys and gals have anything going on over the Thanksgiving weekend? Frank |

Hmm... Unfortunately, I expect it to be cold here over that week... and pretty much from now until Spring. Nevertheless, many of us are not shy about the cold, and some of them even have electrics, so I'm sure we could scrounge up a ride. Perhaps that Saturday or Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend? |

Oh, by the way, I never replied to Kim: I work at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa. You can google it and get driving directions. Basically north of the Santa Ana Star Casino at US550/NM528. I brought those shirts, so anytime you wanna drop by, you can. I'm thinking about taking tomorrow off, so call me if you come down then. |

CJ, I think I will plan on stopping in Albuquerque and if it is still cold I will head further south maybe down to Socorro. Like I said I have no plans but if there was something going on anywhere I would make it a point to stop by. No need getting a ride together for me and my girlfriend as we will probably just do a lot of exploring. Thanks, Frank |

Well, I don't really have any idea what the weather is like in Socorro this time of year, but a guy at work is really bugging me to go to Silver City to ride the mountain roads there. Not sure if it's supposed to be that much warmer, but might be worth a look. |

I was just there last weekend... very nice ride. Took 47 and some side roads down all the way to Rt60. There's a new restaurant/brewery in Socorro (Socorro Springs) and the wife and I had lunch there. Good food. Try the Cuban Sandwich and the Salmon. Came back on Rt 60 and up South 14 (313 etc). Weather was perfect. I didn't even turn on my heated grips ;) I was on the German rocket ship... |

Murrae, Joel... Speed sensor replaced...speedo works. Also installed a new bulb and what a difference in light. Electrical system seems ok - no dim lights any more. |

Idunno. Sometime warm, like mid-day. Maybe we can lunch in the area. You gonna take the day off or play hookie during lunch? |

You wanna shoot for 1030 or so at Coffee at Dawn? We could shoot the crest up and down and then decide what to do for lunch. North is the Mineshaft, south is Ponderosa, and there is almost certainly something in Cedar Crest too. |

Frank-The kids are all doing something different for T day or cooking at their houses, so Mabel and I are loading the dirt bikes and heading for Big Bend for three days of riding the day after. There's nice paved stuff there as well. We're staying at the Mission Lodge in Terlingua. |

Coffee @ Dawn sounds good to me... I vote for the Ponderosa, I'll need to hit a few places in abq while I'm down there. |
