Glitch & I had talked months ago about moving to Suches once Cody graduates high school. He's going to start a business so he can work from home (no more commuting to the big A) and I'm going to work at TWO with Mimi. What a great idea though to start a Hooligan compound up there! I think we should start scoping out the land when we're up there for MBV! I am definitely suffering from Post Buelltoberfest Depression. I felt it the minute we got on 400 and had to deal with all that traffic and the straight roads this past Sunday. |

Michelin tire recall on Pilot Power and Pilot Power 2CT front tires. Seems some of them come apart. This may be old news to some, but it's new to me. Michelin's# - 866-324-2835 |

Yeah I agree , I really miss the hills. Waking up to the sounds of the local mail truck squealing up an down the mountain is so awesome. To the others who roomed with the wonderful Maike's. I am sorry Saturday night sucked. Atleast by the next big bike event he will be sleeping through the night. It was awesome hanging out with the gang in the hills again, an real nice to have the adult conversations. Ulywife thanks so much for hanging with my kid so i could ride. Also those cookies are so awesome!! Can i put in for an order by march , trying to get back to my normal weight , so cookies would be bad right now. But i see by march i'll be ready for some more cookies!! Ew wee i love those cookies!! |

*gets in line behind Kdan* is this the drinking line??? Xbullet - somebody has to drink it, otherwise it's alcohol abuse and we don't want to set a bad example for the children, now do we??? Ulywife, those cookies are amazing. I'm officially putting you in charge of making us all fat once we move up north. Braveangel - Just think, maybe by March we can get pictures of Hayden hanging off the mini Harley like Nicolas was this time!!! We'll have an entire collection of the kids on that bike. |

Hey 3%'ers. If any of you are in the mood for a long ride this weekend, come on over to SC and join us for a fall Buellers meet. (See thread here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 130123.html?1192147568) We're meeting at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in North Charleston, SC (near the intersection of I-26 and Ashley Phosphate Road) at 11 AM on Sunday (October 14). We're planning to head up to the Francis Marion National Forest (about 25 miles north of Charleston) after eating and do a loop on some of the backroads in the area. (There are a lot of well-maintained dirt/gravel roads through the national forest too.) I know it's short notice, but if you're looking for someplace to ride this weekend (and of course, assuming it's possible to get bored with the N GA mountains...), come on over. The weather promises to be great. Hughlysses |

Today I almost lost it........ On my way home traffic sux as usual but today a little more than normal, no problem take alternate route. While on said alternate route I see a F-150 just ahead pull out, then back into my lane coming straight for me!!!! As I approach he jumps out and then tries to knock me off my bike while I am trying to avoid him...So after the swerve I stop and he is yelling but I cant hear him in the helmet, so he starts to charge me!!! At that point I grabbed my keys, got the side bag opened and reached for my trusty side arm, before removing I yelled "one more step and there will be one right between your eyes fatty", dude then reaches in his pocket and I assume called the cops. WTF did I do??? Ride a bike I guess, this is the same whacko that tried that shit to SS and his old man a year or so ago. Time to teach this a lesson.......Group burnout in front on his house!!! |

Gotta be careful with the side arm. If his version of the story gets to the law before yours, you could be in for a rough road. I know a person who pulled his gun on 2 drunks who were threatening him in a parking lot. He was promptly arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, and brandishing a firearm. He lost his CCW, and it cost him over $20,000 in lawer fees to keep himself out of jail. I completely understand your position, and I would have probably done the same.. just be careful. |
