Nize2Bme, What's your size? I may have some extra gear you can use for the ride. Here's the ride from Frederick: Link: <http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=utf8&hl=en&msa=0 &msid=107505159725656680588.00043c36999d64c369a36& z=10&om=1> I tried it last Sat, with people it will take over 2 hours (took me 2hrs solo), may have to shorten it. |

Hey Brandon, good meeting you and great seeing you here on the BadWeb.. Welcome! So far, I'm thinking of departing from Wegmans on 28 (at the Church/Waxpool rd interchange) - That'll give us a good parking lot to rally at, then a nice, little run down towards town. (twisties first thing!) then some scenic.. then a minor adventure and some stop and go .. then it's Old Glory, Food, Fun and uh.. Fun.. and well.. whatever.. How's that sound for all you 'Dulles/Manassas' area types? |

Hi Guys! If anybody wants to ride from Baltimore, I have the lead ride, but it will be down 295 to Old Glory because I have to be there to start up the Bone Yard Battle. So the ride won't be so thrilling but if you want to ride with another Bueller down to OG please contact me! K |

Chrisb: you have to try to connect with the Ft. Washington group. Nize2Bme: Well that sux I'm a Med. Aside from winter gloves, I'd invest in some winter Underarmour (it helps a bunch) and a facemask/scarf. These are the areas that cause me the most distraction when riding in cold weather(hands, arms face & neck). Prior to owning leathers, I used a MOPP suit. I'd wear one when it was really cold (30-40 degrees). You just have to like OD green. |

Speaking of the DULLES area departure.. As stated before, we'll leave from the Wegmans parking lot off Rt. 7 (at the Church Rd./Waxpool Rd. exit). I was thinking about 10am since the first part of the ride won't be that fast (due to tight roads) and even slower if it's wet out. We'll work our way down to McLean, then along the water till we cross into town for a few minutes (or more depending on traffic) and then out and up the BW Parkway. IF the protestors are still working the area, we'll have to abort the portion through town, since those idiots have already beaned one of their own with a brick and I don't feel like dodging that kind of idiocy. So.. I'll see you there for a 10am departure? |

Well... This is it! Time to get ready to go.. So to speak.. I have a thing or five to do once I leave work, and I probably won't be back online today. I'll see folks tomorrow (hopefully by about 0900am the rain will have passed and we can be on our way at 10 without too much liquid sunshine falling on us!) In the advent of it being an uncalled for gully washer.. I won't be riding since I need to keep things together for my last track day on Sunday.. and mud, filth etc don't go over real well with the tech folks (of course bent anything is worse, but we won't go there) But, I'm thinking positively.. soooo... See you there.. |

It's official, IF I had a tail, it would have fallen off because it was frozen, Brrrrrr. I got in tonight around 8:00, outside temp....50. As much as I like my Lightning, I'm not so sure it's designed for long distance riding when it's that cold out. The Electraglide Classic, with that nice big fairing, at the dealership up here sure would have been nice tonight. All told, over 400 miles today, 197 miles to Old Glory, and Ras' "scenic twisty route" on the way home should put me over 400. I was too cold to check actual mileage. For those that missed out on today, you missed a great day. Although the factory demo truck wasn't running rides today - They will be tomorrow - hint, hint. The "door prizes" were excellent. Kudo's to Old Glory. This first impression was a GREAT one! Old Glory HAS lots of Buell t-shirts, hats, helmets, jackets, leather coats and accessories out on the floor, for both the XB line up and the tubers. |

Ditto, they put on a great event, just a shame the weather did not cooperate. The Total Control seminar was excellent! Like Toona mentioned DEMO RIDES ARE ON TODAY (SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!) Boneyard Battle was rescheduled to the 17th of November. |
