Check it out!!!! Latus is sponsoring the Board! Look in the sponsors section. I've already Directed Kenny (2wheeler) to our board. Perhaps we should entertain the Idea of "s[ponsorship" and a more formal club? |

Patches sounds cool. We have started looking at T-shirts under or logo thread as well. Formal club. I wonder if we can merge the PBR group with the local Buell Club?? Just a thought. May increase turnout. |

I posted this earlier on the Sponsors link, I thought I would re post here as an introduction to the local community. Thanks again and looking forward to hooking up with everyone. Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Latus Motors Harley Davidson to the readership. Were located just outside of downtown Portland, Or., about 20 minutes to the southeast. Were easy to find if you ever visit the area, 205 south - exit 11 by the x-tra large American flag, hard to miss. Like our ad banner says "We live Performance" is very true. In all venues of the sport Latus Motors is represented. Tripp Nobles is in his second year with Latus, and we look forward to having Tripp on the new Latus 1125R, Joe Kopp and Brady Mueller handle AMA Flat Track, and our Drag Racing team is represented by Steve Dorn in Top Fuel, Randy Borho in Pro Mod, and I'm in my rookie year on the V-Rod Destroyer. We are a dedicated Buell dealer, having raced competitively for over 10 years with the brand. We know our Buell's. Mike Stegmann is our Performance Specialist, and he's been at it for years, in his game, experience is hard to beat, and he's one of the best in the business. Our owner George Latus is a competitor himself, in his younger days on 2 wheels, today you can find him still piloting open wheel single seaters. I have had conversations with our GM, Tony Beyer in regards 2 agenda's I want to get off the ground: 1.) Establish a Buell Riders Club based out of Latus Motors, I would appreciate responses from all of you Portlander's out there. We can do weekend shorties, or longer more aggressive rides on the other side of the mountain, lots of room to let-r-rip over there. 2.) We'll be getting our first 1125R's soon, I hear November. I've asked Tony if we can get a demo ride (far more that around the block) put together with a limited number of riders. I've got a tentative OK for that, details to follow. So if your into Buell Sport Bike riding, and/or Ulysses stuff I'm game. Let's get together. Regards, and looking forward to meeting you, I can be reached at: Kenny Dreer Special Projects - Team Latus Racing 503-702-4183 kdreer@ccwebster.net |

Hey Jason man, Glad to hear from you. I was up at Mitch's yesterday. I saw his latest girlie body pintstriping poster, I'm collecting them. I turned the Uly in, and am hoping for the new big one, you know what I mean. I really enjoyed the Uly, Lane and I and a bunch of camping gear trekked out to the Beemer rally in John Day earlier this summer. I love those roads out there. I would like to arrange some weekend outings for next year, you in. Kenny |

I'm down for long rides... as long as they aren't a$$ numbing long rides. I've noticed that about 200 miles at a time, I'm ok, but need rest afterward. My bike is not the most comfortable on the tail section. Either way, as long as I can make it, I'm in. Jeremy |

I can't make it tonight but with a little advance notice I will definitely try to make the next meeting. I'm in the process of formulating some demo plans with our GM. Right now its all dependent on how many bikes we are getting allocated, the first several already have owners. I'll keep you all posted as things develop further. Should know more within the next two weeks. Kenny |

Just thought I would pass this along. I am working part time at Latus Salvage, which is down on Vancouver Way, right close to Jubitz Truck area. If anyone is in need of wearables such as leather jackets, fabric jackets, gloves, boots, helmets, etc, and/or other gear this is the place, the selection is huge, all premium merchandise at close out prices, can't beat that. See Scott, tell him I sent you down there. Kenny |

Toby, We're excited about the new 1125R. What is uncertain for us at this time, is how many is Buell going to allocate. If we can get our hands on several, then at least one will become a demo. From there I can start planning a demo program with the group. George and Tony have already suggested to me that I invite all the PBR's over for an official "unveiling" of the new bike. Keep yer fingers crossed, and I'll certainly keep everyone updated here. Kenny |

OUCH. Motorcycle News Biker's penis struck by lightning Author: Tim Skilton Published: 21 Sep 07 CROATION BIKER Ante Djindjic, 29, from Zagreb had his penis zapped by lightning as he stopped beside the road to relieve himself (no, I meant take a pee). Djindjic, said: "I don't remember what happened. One minute I was taking a leak and the next thing I knew I was in hospital. "Doctors said the lightning went through my body and because I was wearing rubber boots it earthed itself through my penis." Djindjic, who suffered light burns to his chest and arms, added: "Thankfully, the doctors said that there would be no lasting effects, and my penis will function normally eventually." |
