Long, long ago at a dealership far, far away, Buellish let me feel up his clutch. He'd installed an MRC clutch effort reduction kit, and it felt damn good. I bought one then and finally got around to installing it today. Here are some pics and impressions: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/301958.html Executive summary: It's easy to install, it feels great, and everybody should go buy one immediately. |

Xwraithx, I've already given all my XB9R stuff away. Sorry... Xbullet, I've slowed down but still like to have fun. I'm slower on the streets and in the "Hills" since I've started doing track days and racing and I'm sure theirs other factors as well. WIFE,KIDS,WORK,FAT,GETTING OLD,GIMP-LEGGED,ETC....LOL!!! I'd have to say the 3%er group has a lot of good riders and fast too....more than other groups I've rode with. If their were ever a "Mountain TT" in the hills of N-GA and we could have local clubs race against each other. I thing we the "3%er's" would do good... |

Kdan said it may have been Glitch. Wasn't me. I'd like to ride tomorrow. I haven't been up in a while. Don't need a clutch effort reduction, my stiff clutch is probably the only reason my left hand even moves. I think of it as physical therapy. |

Well lets all get some 50's and race in the True Grits Rally! I will be there in full leather on the 80!! Sanchez, I love the MRC clutch kit!! I second everyone should own one! |

We had an awesome time out today. We met up at Dale's, then rode to Gixxer Corner and back. We wanted a photo op, but the road was wet. After that, we took Wolf Pen Gap over to 348 and rode that to highway 75. Chi_stud, Xbullet, Deadduck, and Hooverrider headed back the way they came, while Dan and I took 75 to 129 and then cut over to 400. It didn't really start raining until we hit 129 on the way home, and it didn't get bad until I was almost to 285 on 400. About exit 6, the sky opened up and shit on me like Rosie O'Donnell on a burrito bender. At one point, it rained so hard that even cars were pulling over, but the Uly felt great. Those Avon Storm ST tires live up to their name. I actually got kind of pissed because the cars ahead of me were driving so slowly that the rain was dripping down the back of my neck, and I wasn't getting enough wind to keep my visor clear. The rain dried up quickly after I got onto 285, though, and the last few miles of the ride went just fine. Now if only I'd remembered to put my wallet in my luggage. Oh well, I guess I'll have to microwave it again. |

Here are some pictures I snapped of the new 1125 in cutaway display form. This bike was on display at the Buell hospitality tent at the US GP at Laguna. The word is that Buell may make a 600 or so sized version to go racing with. Also they are gaging public reaction to the possibility of a standard/naked version. Funny thing.... I was wearing my Buell mechanic's shirt and got all but ignored. But the people with Kawi, or Honda, or Yamaha shirts were subjected to the third degree. The staff were asking them questions like "What have you thought of Buell before now" "Do you like the new design" "Would you consider buying a Buell now" At least they had free Red Bull for me once I showed my VIN. It was good to finally see a Buell trailer at the Big races.

The dry ride back was nice, especially the part when the soaking wet Kawi rider on 400 gave us the finger! No problem Deadduck. When is the suspension party? |

Anyone interested in some serious seat time? I'm taking next week off and riding up to Winston-Salem, NC to see some family. I only plan to stay there a day, and then I'm heading up to VA and WV or wherever the road takes me. Hooverrider suggested some great roads up the east side of WV and down the west side of VA. |

Sanchez - looks like Carlos and I will be in VA this weekend. Fancy Gap is an hour north of Winston Salem. We're right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I'll PM you with phone numbers. We may be able to meet up with some other C3 members and Ferris Bueller & Denise. |
