Bro we have a problem i didn't call and sing you happy birthday. But i did try and call you yesterday. And guess what i think my starter is bad. Ok im starting to get alittle pissed off. |

Bad solenoid dude. Maybe look into having it rebuilt. Yes, burnout in drive from bike. No, Mustang. Thats the old ladies Cobalt. I'll ask around the shop. Might have a local guy can rebuild your starter. |

Man i was way off i didn't even have the right make. I have a local guy that can rebuild it on the spot for me. So he says the last time i had him rebuild my Camaro starter for me it took a week for him to get to it. Hopefully it'll be out this weekend. I got pretty pissed when i realized you have to go through the primary cover to get to the starter bolts. Is it just me but wouldn't it off been better to have the bolts thread into the primary. Instead of having them thread into the starter. That way you could take it off without going through the primary. One of my buddys that works for me decided he'd mess with me today. He came into my office and handed me a small hammer and told me it was a gift so i didn't have to piss with my starter. I told him im going to hit something with that hammer and its not the buell.  |

Well dont go crazy just yet. If you cant wait keep tapping it. I'm gonna try to come up your way next week. I got Tues Weds off and I'd like to go to bike night in Sharon. Are you close? Maybe we can meet there. I got a manual that shows it all. I can lend you or help in the repair if you want me to. Its a bad design yes but to have the bolts thread into the case is a stripping of threads waiting to happen. It keeps us from having to repair or replace said case. Smile, Wile E loves you. |

mattu im about and hour from Sharon. More info on the bike night please. I got the bike in the back of the truck as i type this. Taking it to my buddys house more tools and someone to keep me from doing something stupid. Well need to head to main plant to give blood A positive they love me. |

I was told that every Wedsnesday is bike night at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon. My buddy who rides a hippo bike is wantin us to go. I told him he'd have to keep up or get lost. I'll let you know. |

Mattu wish i could definetly say yes. But we both know its impossible for me to. Wednesday is a long ways away. There is alot of maybe's involved. Maybe i'll have the bike straightend out by then. Maybe i'll get out of work at a normal time wednesday. But yes i do know where its at they have good food. Well i finally took a day off after a month straight if you get a chance give me a call. |

 Rode to a best friends funeral today. Buell was excellent therapy. Got alot of weird looks showing up in riding gear. Nice to let the other half see what its like to really live. |

Scream, sorry I been away for awhile. I broke my foot in a bike accident. Didnt hurt the bike. It was offroad and i got snared by a tree root or a vine. Pulled my foot backward and cracked the big metatarsal. I live in Steubenville. Its an hor and a half from Columbus. (by Buell) 2 by cage. Wish I could join your ride. Totally bummed out, had to get a new cast and its bigger and harder to ride with. Can do short runs but not anything too long. Thinking of a way to make it work. Saturday now and did 50 mile was tough but great therapy. Ya'll be safe ride hard watch out for the state cops. |

There’s a Grandview Bike Night once a month. They’re trying to get Euro Bikes or Vintage bikes more so than the average Harleys and Jap. Sportbikes like every other bike night. I figured this would be a good place for the Buell owners to make an impression, as it’s much more true motorcycle riders/enthusiasts, rather than the bikers and squids that fill many other bike nights.
This month is Tuesday July 24th from 6:00-10:00 PM. They block off parking for one block of Grandview Ave. for Motorcycles only. There are many Restaurants, Bars, Coffee shops, and Ice-Cream Shops on this block. There was a Black Ulysses there last month, and I got there on my Cyclone as soon as I found out about it.
For anyone looking to get directions, the address would be as follows:
1277 Grandview Ave, Columbus , OH 43212
I got the above info from Mikef5000 and thought posting it here would be the way to go. I hope a few of us show up. I am going to try once again to start a local Buell riding group so please think of some names for OUR riding group. It will be nice to have something on Buell's website letting the rest of the world know that people do ride Buells in Columbus. I will try to be there around 7 or so. |

Does anybody have any ideas what to call the local Buell "chapter"?
In speaking with some peps at Farrows they would be willing to get some t-shirts printed just for Buell riders so when you buy a Buell from them you get a Buell t-shirt, not one that says HD on it. They would be for sale to everyone but free for new buyers. They can't have anything that is trademarked, so HELP!!!!! PLEASE!! |

I made it to Vintage Days, Friday and Sunday. Got rained on Friday, there and back home. Sunday the weather was great. I demoed the Triumph Speed Triple, Kaw Classic 2000 LT, KTM 990 Adventure and 08 Uly. I still like my 07 Uly.
Saw a few Buells there and a couple Badwebbers. |

Us-uly, what did you think of the 990 KTM motor? Is it all supreme powerful like they tout it? I like the supermoto but it looks like a big bike. Costly to repair with maybe crashing it doin all those neat stunts. |
