Boy I remember when............. I had to spend an hour reading badweb to catch up on the days activities on the 3% forum. Now no one even posts for 3 to four hours or more. Sad Really. Any way the Motor is in the classifieds, so is the Forks and Shock. Help me get rid of it. I posted about 7 ads on craigslist of junk I got laying around too so I am gonna be busy. |

Well, it looks as though we've got a leak. *sigh* he didn't want to go to the attic to see if the leak was up there...it is... He charged us up, but I'm not convinced it's really working the way it should. I found a leak on the return, someone sometime taped it with that metal tape... Ace and A was out last Summer and charged us for I don't know what, he was right beside the leak... Shit Anyway... Anyone know HVAC? |

anything I need to be careful of when removing the wheels and putting them back on? The front axle turns the "wrong" way to loosen and tighten. The front caliper can be a bitch, so take off the front fender. |

The front caliper can be a bitch, so take off the front fender. And he aint just whistling dixie! It took me about 25 minutes of cussing and grunting to get the front wheel back on. The trick is to rotate the right side fork just so, while dropping the wheel in from above, while holding your left foot at a 27.3 degree angle off of true magnetic north on a thrusday afternoon at precisely 2:16 pm while an unladen swallow passes overhead. IMPORTANT That's 2:16 ALABAMA time! 1:16 Georgia time. Always be sure to note that Eastern Standard Time is one hour ahead while working on the front forks. Rear doesn't matter so much, just make sure you're not working on the bike on any day of the week that doesn't end in Y, or you're |

You guys with the front caliper problems...I've never had any issues removing my front caliper, either taking the wheel off, or just the caliper to change the brake pads. You just have to watch what you're doing and ever so gently, ease it out the way it wants to go. I've never removed the fender, or loosened the fork, or forked a swallow or nuthin. I'm gonna try to be at the Hooters on my way home. Watch for the KLR on the sidewalk. Holcomb Bridge is a bitch for traffic. |

C_s, just take the bike to Two Brothers and let them do the labor. It's only an extra $10 for them to take the wheel off and put it back on. Most places charge the same or more than TB's on-the-bike price to change tires when you bring them the dang wheel off the bike. |

IMPORTANT That's 2:16 ALABAMA time! 1:16 Georgia time. Yes.. that is correct. It also explains why when we moved here from Snellville, everyone thought that we were from the future. Does anyone know anything about the computer science department at UGA?? How the industry views them? Etc..??} |

Shit what pains I'll go through when I'm broke. Thanks Shred, I may take you up on that. Maybe it would make the undead-room back into the living room. I'll give you a ring. |
