Made it up to TWO at 8am this morning. Trailering the bikes is definitely the way to go. Didn't see one cop all day long and we made two trips around the loop and went up Hwy 60! I managed to knot up the tires a little bit and flew right through chihuahua_stud corner twice like it never happened. Track day definitely got rid of that demon! |

Has anyone heard of ECM Spy? I downloaded it yesterday. It seems that I have just found myself an almost free (need to make a cable for about $30) way to reset my TPS and/or flash new maps (ala tuned maps for the special ops pipe). Now all I need to do is make myself a cable. If you google ecmspy, you can find the downloads and whatnot. |

Rat, I need more info on that! Are you putting it on a Palm, or laptop. I doubt my laptop will run it, it didn't say anything about Linux. I have a pocket PC, and a Palm collecting dust. Keep us up to date please! Will, how's life with baby? Hope all is well! I'm sure it is, just a major difference to life once the realization sets in that time is no longer yours to be in control of. Looking forward to seeing y'all. Charlie, y'all still hangin' in there?! Travis, long time no hear. |

Glitch, They do have a version for a palm. The cabling is different though. I don't know much about palms, so I am not familiar with their com port interfaces. I found out about this on the buelletinboard dot com. In the open forum, there is a thread with links to the downloads and whatnot that were copied form the original thread in the UK Buell Entusiast's group. If you go to the UK Buell Enthusiast's Group, and look for the ECM Spy thread (created by the creator of ECM spy), there is a bunch of information on using the palm. I think the original program was developed for the palm, and the pc version followed. One thing about the program for the pc... well for both really. It is all in german, however, the kind folks who made it had the forethought to allow different laguages, so there is an option to display in english. |

Hey everyone well i'm a week away from my due date now. Getting very impatient. I'm so ready to meet our new son. Been having false labor this past week twice. I start having the contractions, than an hour later he decides not to show. We have his room finished an his crib is coming tomorrow, i figure maybe he is just waiting for his room to be done. I'll have new12r post some pics of his room soon. hope you all are having a good weekend an hope to see you all soon. |

Hang in there B_A! My oldest kid was due on March 17th and her birthday is April 2nd. But, even though she was 9lbs 12ozs, I didn't feel a thing! Bambi and I got out real early this morning for a nice mountain ride and the SV seems to have eaten it's electrical system...What does it mean when both bulbs burn out and the main fuse block melts? I hate electrical problems. So our ride turned into psycle recovery. Thanks Glitch & Mountainrider...We got her home. |

Whew, I am whooped. I put over 300 miles on the Uly this morning. Left at 6 am, got to Dales at 7:15, drank coffee and listened to the locals complain about the bikes. Left and headed up 60 to Coopers Creek and rode about 20 miles of dirt back to 180. Got to T.W.O. about 8:55, ordered some breakfast and waited on Rock Star(Xbullet). 9:30 and no one showed so I split, rode back down 60, up 129 to Richard Russel, up 75 to the AT stop and then hit the Dirt again, 15 more miles of dirt (took about 30 min) back down to Alt 75 where it meets 75, then I came back to get to Lightnindaves new families B-day get together. Did I mention that Amy's sister lives 3 doors down from Scott Russel!!! Anyway going to visit mom, her new hubby had a stroke on fri while out of town and they just got him home. See yall soon! |

We headed out early Sat Morning. Been working the last 4 weekends straight. Had to know I was looking forward to it because I wasn't even complaining about the heat. Just before the cross roads where the BBQ Place is (don't know what Hwy) my tac died. Still running good...for about 3 seconds then all the lights came on and it died. Cooked the electrical some-thing-or-other. I'm sad....very, very sad. |

Little worse than a broken bike. Make that, there's little worse than the A/C taking a dump during the hottest time of the year. New12r, I got your text too late...maybe tomorrow? |

Mountain, excellent score! Nice bike! A friend of mine has one just like that, he has two sets of wheels. The stock dirt wheels, and a set of aluminum 17inch street wheels. Bet it gives the DRZ a run! |

It has so much more torque then the DRZ. 3rd gear wheelies are easy. I wish I had the money to buy a set of 17s. |

Kdan, I found a couple that were quite fun. When you leave Helen going north just before the AT stop there is a Forrest Service road that is 14.9 miles back to Helen. In the first couple miles there are whoops that you can jump and wheelie like crazy out of. I need to have a couple folks with me next time, I was thinking to myself that even a flat tire could be a catastrophic event. MR, I might get some time to ride after the youngun' is born. I will hit you up for sure. |
