Yep, it was fun getting out with the group again. I vote Hooters for next week, though. I never thought I'd say this, but the service is much better there! Both places up our orders, but at least at Hooters we can look at boobs while we wait. |

Wish we could have made it last night, but Colin is in band camp this week, and that would have left Cody home alone. We're up for it next week though. |

There's a Hooters in Roswell...Not at all far from ME! If anyone's interested. Does anyone know of a decent place, kinda in the middle of say, M1A65, who's almost in Alabama and New12R, who's almost in Augusta? Sanchez? Anything? Riding to y'alls side of the world at 6:00pm, sucks. |

Dan, Ever been up to the Firehouse? It's between Woodstock and Roswell. Biker crowd with music in the evenings. Used to drop in there once in awhile when I had a life... Didn't mind the Vortex but I usually got there after everyone finished their deserts! Damn work always getting in the way of my boozing. |

Last night was fun, except for the horrible service and having to sanitize my credit card. I missed riding with the 3%ers. I don't think you guys freaked Christian out to bad, she even called this morning to tell me what a great time she had hanging out and riding with us. I must not being going fast enough! Chris give me call if you want to meet up with us Friday 678-983-6434. |

Yeah, we use to have a buddy that played at the Firehouse. The bad's name was Totally Savage. Some Kick A$$ Blues! He said he stopped playing there when it became a Meth Lab. Shame, We really enjoyed hearing him in a place larger than the bathroom at the local high school. (Crystal's off Marietta Square) |

Crystal's isn't a bad bar at all, just a tad snug. I've had bigger bedrooms. I tried googling Atlanta bike nights and boy, are we lame. Rhode Island has more bike nights than the Atlanta area and they're smaller! I guess all the "bikers" in Atlanta are just rich urban pussies who don't like to ride their scooters when it's a little warm. - <End rant/ |

Escape Heavy with the realities My head won't be hushed The door lifts sounding angry at having to open The V-Twin comes to life A cool wind would be a welcome feeling to replace the heat of thought A hot humid hazy feeling is the reality Riding off The impending dangers and immovable obstacles replace the heated thoughts Rumbling beneath me the V-Twins sounds angry Yet more than willing to push me through the haze Red light The thoughts re-enter my head Green light They seem to be fading again The wind starts to cool The vents in my jacket fill with the welcome coolness Open road Twists and turns soon replace the heated thoughts not wanting to submit A fellow escapee headed who knows where A nod will do Blue lights A dull copper taste, adrenalin, and impending doom quickly replace every thought Pulling over The blue lights pass me quickly pushing through the haze and disappear Relief The thoughts of doom leave quickly, the copper taste and adrenalin aren't so easily shed The coolness soon returns to the vents in my jacket A most welcome feeling Riding again Twists, turns, and thinking of nothing more than what's ahead Escaping escaping Amber light Why does it seem that everyone has their hand out, even the V-Twin Gas station Pre-pay Not wanting to talk to anyone I just leave not collecting the 75ยข change I just want to ride, escape The hot hazy air is replaced yet again Rain Getting wet, and the impending dangers become less and less predictable Headed back Sigh The door lifts sounding angry at having to open The V-twin is hushed The quiet is deafening Heavy with the realities My head won't be hushed There is no escape Only moments of sanity Glitch-Friday, August 03, 2007 - 07:30 am |

this weekend is a touring weekend for my uly and i. we are headed to west virginia , and are going to tour the mountains from south to north on the west side and come back north to south on the east side. then maybe a stint on the blue ridge parkway. last weekend was my hooligan weekend so this weekend i will be traveling at the speed limit. 14000 miles since january and lots of off-road touring, and hooliganism the only thing left is a track day and that's coming. to bad crappy harley let me down with my problem on the paint job. 200.00 dollars would have made me a very happy customer instead all i will ever say about harley now is how sorry they are. |

Didn't know the Firehouse was a Meth Lab, I would have expected faster service from them if I thought they were on speed... Don't order the oysters there though, more sand in em than my crotch after a day at the beach. Headed up to Alaska this weekend with a 1%er buddy. He's quite ill after abusing hid body for the last 30 yrs and he wanted to see Alaska as his last hurrah before he takes that last ride. Hope to hear some good news from those of you expecting when I get back. All the best. |

Frank...Do you do touch ups? The tat on my back needs some touch up. Its about 6 years old and I would like it as crisp as my new one. No color just black. The borders are a little fuzzy. |
