Pabst Blue Ribbon is definetly more Portland than Rodeo riding, and was my thought when I named the page "PBR". Not sure how large our Logo can be, looks like a small GIF, I'll ask Blake. Is anyone good at this sort of thing? TEll you guys what, lets start a new thread, post and vote on logos. If you can make one, post it, if you see one you like use the vote and mark it. Sound Good? I'll make Saturday if its Dry, but not Sunday... Later! |

Graham, I think that is the way to go, Bucking pegasus on top of a blue ribbon. That is already my vote cause it looks bitchin' in my minds eye, how to get good enuff for the web may be hard and we could just use a blue ribbon for ease. I'm starting to think shirts for PBR bloggers cause the Buell selection sux. |

"philip was that you on 217 north around 5pm sunday?" Yep. Did you go to the Buell Club ride this morning? I tried to make it but showed up at something like 10:40 so I don't know if I missed everyone or if anyone showed. Ended up taking 224hwy from Estacada to Detroit Lake. |

Once the morning rain cleared it was a nice day. Took the wife on a ride today. She loved it. I have the day off tomorrow and will be going to Tillamook with the wife on back for some ice cream at the Tillamook cheese factory. Should be fun. Phil how is 224? |

Aron, today was definitely nice weather, my ride weather was perfect. 224 was pretty good, there are some new culverts put in that just have rock over them for now, but other than that it is pretty clean. As a matter of fact I think it might be faster to get to Detroit that way. From gas in Estacada to Detroit it took me 1hr 10min. If I wanted to pass people whenever I came up on them I could shave the time to an even hr. I took the route pretty easy being my first time on it and was surprised to make such good time. I think we should try this route going to KFalls, avoids the HWY 22 speed traps and camp/boating traffic. Graham, I almost gave chase but I needed Charmin if I planned on any more saddle time. I was headed home to watch the race. shame about that first lap incident. Thank you Tivo. |

Swede - Even though we haven't ridden much this season, my wife remains moto-inspired... she would probably chat with yours about learning to ride. Planning to fly her down to Vegas in October for Femmoto weekend and womens-only trackday test rides. Mark Salem |

I'm sure the salesman working a deal on a VRod hates to hear these words, "Can I hear it run?" They are nice with a pipe on though. |

No. I never made it on 26. I headed West at 11:00 trough Forest Groove on 8 to hwy 6. came home the same way around 3:00. We got rained on a few times on the way. Me being stupid didn't even wear a coat.. The stock seat is not too comfortable over the bumps for the passenger. still with the rain and uncomfortable seat she still had fun. |

Yo, Chris. Don't forget the SPLASH Friday ride too. Meet at 9:00AM at Woodland Horseshoe Lake Park gassed to go. I know of at least 5 of us going now. We cross over to Oregon at Rainier, then take Apiary Road towards Vernonia. Then head towards Clatskanie, then join up to 26 at Jewel. Stop for coffee, then Hwy 53 (a thriller) towards Wheeler and Tillamook. Stop at rest area on 101 just south of town. Then south to Beaver, gas if needed, then the Beaver-to-Carlton road (another little used thriller). Lunch in Yamhill then Washington and Columbia County backroads back to Vernonia/Rainier/Woodland in time to greet and meet the rest of the group. This is one of the nicest bunch of folks you'll ever meet on 2 wheels. Most rode Buells at some time. Some of us still do! I missed the ride only once in the last 6 years when silly eldest daughter scheduled her wedding and asked Rev Shotgun to perform it. |

Shotgun, Gotta work, wont make that one! XBsweed and I rode Blain and Meadowlake roads last Saturday. (You called it Beaver to Carlton Road) It's a great ride. Heading west as you will b be doing the last Mile and a half are bumpy! The've marked where they will be patching it, hopefully soon. There's quite a bit of clean new pavement west of the resivour though so it should be a great ride! Still a few miles of unpaved a bit west of the resivour. |

Sorry to miss you all. sounds like it would be fun. |

Speaking of American Sport Bike products... I'll be in Carlsbad Aug 16th and 17th. If it's small enough to carry on (And I can get it through security) I'm willing to pick up stuff form American Sport Bike and save everyone shipping costs. |
