Hey guys, if we want to avoid the 50 miles on HWy 6 we should be able to go a bit further on 101 and pick up Meadowlake road... a few miles of dirt (hard pack) but worth it... |

I will see you there Paul. The meadowlake rd sounds good. And is a much better alternative to hwy 6. But will be for another trip since we are doing the St Helens 503 loop this time around. I have done this twice now with Jim and Jeremy and it is a great twisty route. You will like it. |

hey all - i would love to join you this saturday am, but it's my wife's birthday, so it's a little iffy to go for too long of a ride - how long is the planned route?...plus or minus, of course.... if i can get away for a few, i'll see you at gators at 10-ish... no promises for me though, so don't be waiting around in case i don't make it...but i wold love to hook up with you all again since the weather looks promising. toby |

Toby, the route is around 130 miles from Vancouver. I would guess that by the time we meet up with every one in Vancouver it would be around 2:30 by the time we were done with the loop. |

Well guys it was another great ride. I will be out now for the next 2-3 weeks. I have to complete some home projects which have been some what ignored with me going on rides every weekend. It's so hard to pass up nice days.

Ouch! Hurts to see that view, and know I could have been riding the St. Helens road instead of nursing hangover at home! Poker on Friday night, rode the XB, ice on the seat when I left for home after 11pm here in the valley. |

you know, sometimes bikes have a second seat just behind the main seat, you could potentially bring your wife on the ride, that would be an interesting start to her birthday. My fiancee annoys the crap out of me if she doesn't get to ride with me at least once in a while. We have had a couple of 2-up couples on at least one of the rides in the past, actually the first good size group that did this run earlier this summer had a gsxr600 and a sv650 both riding double. They kept up better than the guy riding solo on the cbr1000, hmmmmm. Jeremy --P.S. just messing with ya, it's late and I can't sleep and I gotta mess with someone.-- |

Anyone planning any after thanksgiving rides this week? Maybe a short 2-3 hour ride in the afternoon. Friday or Saturday? |

I would like to, but we'll have to see how this long weekend works out. Kind of have a lot going on right now, but need to get out and RIDE!! Will probably be pretty cold, too. I'll check back in here after Thursday if I can make anything happen. |

I might be good for a friday or saturday ride, I only get thursday off of work and still have to get the same amount of work done so that probably means I'll be working on friday and saturday but i may be able to get out early on one of the two days(probably friday) |

I guess we will play it by ear. It would have to be in the afternoon for me as well. But I could possibly do Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Mornings are too cold. Just about lost all the feelings in my finger tips this morning going into work. I think I need some leather winter gloves that provide better wind chill protection then then the fabric winter gloves. oh well another excuse to go to a motorcycle store.. |

Hey everyone, just coming up for air after our double weekend doing AHDRA Pomona/ Las Vegas and then Thanksgiving dinner. Team Latus Drag Racing did very well for the year overall. Randy Borho took number 1 National Champ in Pro Modified division, Steve Dorn finished top 10, my personal kudos to Steve for even getting back in the saddle on that monster after his '06 season departure from that bike. Mike Stegmann and I finished the season 3rd Western Division Destroyer, and 13th Nationally out of 54 riders. I feel pretty good about that, being my first year in. Las Vegas was a really tough event, sticky launch pad, poor air density, but we made it all the way into the semi finals, both Doug Horne and myself could not make it out of the water box as both of bikes broke down. My Destroyer dropped an intake valve and his transmission went away, we didn't even get to smoke the tires, it was over before it got started. I guess if it had to break better then, than at the beginning of the event. Tonglet went to the line, and crossed the beam for the win, and drove his Destroyer back to the pits! It looks like the team will stay intact for next year, and were all looking forward to great next racing season. FYI: I got turned onto heated gear several years ago, both my BMW's and Ducati are set up with heated grips and plug in's for my heated vest. What a difference it makes, you truly have to experience it. Keeping your core warm and your hands and finger tips is essential in cool to cold weather riding, I don't go anywhere with out it anymore. Look up AeroStitch to get the latest info on what's hot (pun) and what not. We also have some heated gear at Latus Motors. I read the post regarding the PBR club, whatever we as a dealership can do to assist is our position, for myself and the dealership, we do not have an agenda that we are persuing, we as a dealership are interested and motivated to enhance the Buell experience, that is our primary focus. Continuing, Todd Slenning, who is our Motor Clothes manager needs some assistance on the logo's as we are ready to get some "T" shirts going. I sent Aron an e-mail regarding such, looking forward to getting this done asap. The Cycle World Show/ Seattle is next weekend, hopefully the new 1125R will be on display. We haven't received any as of yet, but still expecting several within the next couple of weeks..........hopefully. Hope to see some of you soon, preferably riding, Kenny |

Paul, it's my son's 11th birthday so I plan on staying home. It does look like it could be a nice. Heck anytime there is no ice on the road is a nice day in my book. |

We will looking at their Dyno and seeing what type of group rate they will offer as well as signing a T-shirt for Erik from PBR.
