Doon, Good pics, I like the one of Trap taking pictures. Action shots of action shots! Awesome! Brian pulled up along side me on 81 that morning and snapped a pic, I couldn't believe it, I've got all I can do to hang on! BTW, sorry you couldn't make Homecoming this year, but don't be jealous, we'll just have to do another "local" ride! Maybe we can put that trip together for Lake Placid. Trapper has been talking about putting some practice rides together. It's only May and we've already done some really good ones.......more to come. See ya. |

Oh I know there is plenty of time. Last year I told Myself I was going to go to March Badness and Homecoming. This year, the new house took care of MB, and the Baby taking care of homecoming. At least there is Americade (Anybody else going?). Also put a couple of more pictures up. (As for Brian taking the picture, those beemers have autopilot right ). |

another weekend passes. Time seems to go by quickly. Homecoming is only a few weeks away. I took a little ride Saturday towards the Catskills. Did not see many bikes but ended up adding a few extra miles on avoiding thunderstorms. Got to check out some places I had never rode before which is usually a good thing. My son and some of his friends took a putt up thru the Adirondacks and said they were surprised to see several Buells in Old Forge, but none up thru Lake Placid or on the way back via SR3 to 812 to Lowville, then home. I am pretty strapped for time until after this coming weekend, anyone got anything planned? I've worked out a couple non interstates Saddle Sore 1000 rides, all within NY that Id like to ride sometime this month, preferably during the week sometime, if anyone else might be interested contact me off forum and let's do it. |

Got a call from a buddy this afternoon. He was driving through Warrensburg area and got passed by hundreds of bikes with Ontario and Quebec plates, and a "bunch" of Buells. He said he had to call me!! Guys heading to Americade. Thought Presky would be amused. |

I was up in Bolton Landing on Monday for a meeting (in the cage as I had to carry equipment too big for the bike). Saw a couple of buells. Might try and sneak out of work today to head up, not sure yet. |

Dinosaur BBQ Tonight, anyone? I am trying to gather up some people to go up to Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse tonight for dinner and drinks. The plan is to meet up at Southern Tier HD (Upper Front St, Binghamton) at 4:00, and head up from there. For those who would be coming from the north, the plan is for everyone to be there around 5 or so. My cell # is 607.341.1188. Frank, I'll give you a call this afternoon, hopefully we'll see you there. Hope to see some of you guys there tonight. |

Rode to work this morning, 52 miles all highway. Did I mention how much I hate riding the Firebolt on the highway? Muskegon is going to be a long ride! |

Ricohet didn't you ride the bolt last year?Hard to believe it's just over 3 weeks away. I'm thinking of FedEx my clothes to the hotel to lighten the load, I hate the look of the bike with bags. |

Looks can be dealt with. It is what is under the skin that really matters! In any case, there are options. Let's get together to explore some!

Presky, I was thinking the same thing... The cost of fed-exing would be less than buying bags as well, or so i thought. After talking to Steve, i'm getting another tank bag (cheap) to strap on the back which should get me another pair of jeans, some shorts, sneakers, etc. I'm thinking i may put a bookbag on as well. We'll see |

Hey Frank, I spoke to Trapper and Matt today. Trapper is working out the timeline, according to his software. We will all speak once we get a final plan, but it looks like you guys will meet me on the Thruway at the Warners rest area, just West of 81, then we'll meet Matt at Ontario rest area, just east of the second 490 intersection. My new voltage regulator was hanging on the door knob when I got home, so I slapped it on. Tried the lightning pegs, but I'll need too much adjustment of brake and shifter levers without cutting, so I'll scratch them for now. too much nonsense, so little time. Keep in touch. |

well I just finished packing and loading up the bike. It's fueled , covered and ready to ride. I spoke with Bud at Hal's HD today to set up my tire change. He told me the drags go on until at least 10pm and he was doing a vip area with food for $5, so I figured what the hell for $20 if we make it we make it if not no big deal for that price.I hope everyone is as excited as iI am.Have my digital camera packed with 2 GB card. |

Trapper, Fpresky, Carpedium81, and Ricochet safely rode out and are at Homecoming having a Great Time. Wish more of the CNY Buellers could have made it. Maybe next year. The next couple of days/nights will be spent at Elkhart Lake/Road America & surrounding area. Richochet & Trapper are planning a putt up to Appleton's in the morning. More info and photos shortly. |
