Just FYI CJ, harley riders use heated grips, S2 owners would never disgrace their bikes with such crap! Your humor is dry, and worthless... |

OMG Bart, you're turning into such a whinner. BTW, I've got heated grips and I luv them. I now also have a track bike (an 03 R6) as of yesterday afternoon. I'm going to take it to the track for the first time on Friday. |

just try thinking before you type... some of your comments, while you may think they are humorous, are actually quite insulting... Are you kidding?? Deny that you have ANY heated gear. While you may not have grips, I know you do have some heated gear, and so that makes you a valid target for my humor. If it's not funny, don't laugh. But don't whine like a girl because I'm giving you a little ribbing. You can dish it out but you can't take it. Frankly, it's aggravating me that you have become such a different person. You used to be fun and easy going, someone I enjoyed hanging out with. Now you are worse than a stick in the mud. You're like a cranky old woman. You need to snap out of it and remember who your friends are. Maybe if you stopped alienating everyone, you wouldn't have to go to Arizona to find someone to ride with. |

CJ, I DO have heated gear, but I wouldn't ruin a beautiful work of art like a '95 S2 by installing something like heated grips on it. OR any of my other bikes. "You used to be fun and easy going" I still am. I've never put up with bullshit, and don't plan to start now. "You need to snap out of it and remember who your friends are" Let's see, after draining the gas in your bike and helping make it ready for shipping when you moved, and selling you a riding suit, and then buying it back after you filled it full of farts, and also selling you a tire for cost, i thought you were, obviously i was mistaken. Perhaps this is WHY i'm so anti-social now. I bend over to help people out and get crapped on in return. You hardly ride with me, and you certainly don't hang out with me, you actually don't really know me very well at all. Your bike is just that, a bike. My bikes are my children, and I feel the same way about them as you do about your kids. Think about that before you go making smartass comments about my bikes. amazing how one smartassed remark created a pissing contest here on the 'net. what a waste of good bandwidth. |

I bend over to help people out and get crapped on in return. Name one time that has happened. You hardly ride with me, and you certainly don't hang out with me, Who's fault is that? You have made yourself unavailable. Maybe I should get out my crystal ball to see when Bart is going to be around and then consult the Magic 8 ball to see if he'll be in a good mood. No thanks. I've got better shit to do than try to decipher your mood swings and availability. I told you that I appreciated all the help you gave me. I offered you help a few times, but the only time you accepted was to share a hotel room in Denver. I called on your behalf to buy some piece of shit truck while you were out of town. (That must not be help.) I've invited you to my home more than once and you've never graced us with your presence or even a call to say you weren't going to make it. I don't give a shit how far you can pee. I hope you and your children have a long and fruitful life together. (Message edited by GhostRider on June 20, 2007) |

"Name one time that has happened. " RIGHT NOW... "You have made yourself unavailable... I've invited you to my home more than once and you've never graced us with your presence" I work out of town, 10-12 hour days, 7 days a week. I usually don't know WHEN I'll be in town. It's not mood swings, and you don't need a magic 8 ball. When I AM in town, It's usually just for a weekend, and I still have tons of stuff to do at home, and with my bikes. Personal time is precious at the moment, and I try to spend it wisely. I'm sorry if my unavailability upsets you... |

Damn Kim, if that's a tax refund toy, I"m in the wrong business... Hey, the reason I"m breaking in on yall's happy conversation is: We're coming up to Sante Fe the middle of August. Judy wants to go to the Indian Market... I've got reservations for the Sat and Sun right out of town for the travel trailer. I was wanting to go up to Chama or somewhere else just a bit north and stay for a few days. We were looking for a place near a river and not too touristy??? Anybody know any good campgrounds??? I"ve been working too much myself and haven't had a chance to do much research... Thanks, Kevin |

Hey Kevin, what dates are you going to be up here? We've got the Taos rally going on Aug 17-19th. I can't think of any camping site, up in Chama, but then I haven't really spent any time up there. Maybe someone else will be more helpful. I am luvin' the new toy. I got to take it out on the track Friday. It is going to be too much fun. I'm planning on doing the race school the first weekend of Aug. |

It is time to start thinking about the Taos Rally. Dave from CO has already taken the initiative to get the ball rolling for the hotel rooms. I've posted the email below. Rooms will only be held until the first of Aug. He has also made reservations for a dinner on Sat. night. Hi Guys, I`ve made arrangements with the Sagebrush. Call & get set up soon. Also would all of us want to do the t-shirt and trophy thing again this year? I called a couple of people on this end and they were all for it, Whaddya think? Gimme a shout via e-mail or phone. I don't think I'll be back in town that weekend, but I had a great time up in Colorado this holiday weekend... Kelly and his girlfriend Lisette came out on their bikes from Phoenix and the 4 of us rode up through Silverton, and to Lake City and back. I was going to ride the S3, but didn't think it road worthy enough, it has a few issues I want to deal with before taking it on a long road trip, so I had to ride the city-X since the S2 is out in Phoenix.
As soon as we crossed the state line we ran into rain, luckily it was the only storm we saw the whole time.
Kelly rode his GSXR 1000, yes, he traded his city-X in.
Lisette was riding her Blast
I can't resist posting this pic of Kelly in his full leathers on the blast, LOL.
We were wondering if this ranch was full of potheads.
Here's a pic of the Rio Grande valley, this is where the Rio Grande starts, man the water was so clear!
The bikes at the Alpine Moose in Lake City We got lucky and ended up in the lower section where the rooms had the patios.
It got a little chilly at night after dinner, but that didn't stop us from having a few cold ones...
Here's a group pic at the falls, Kim should know where this is, just below Wolf Creek... I hope you guys have a good time in Taos, take some pics!!! |

Hey Bart, It looks like you had a good trip. We just got back from Montrose yesterday, and some of those shots look familar.
We (Murrea, Mabel and 4 other MSF coachs) went up to do Dirt Bike School. Damn, it was too much fun. After that 5 of us stayed in Ouray, for the night. It was really rough waking up to this, after a long night of soaking in the hot springs.
Then there was all those dang bikes in the parking lot.
The ride home was great, even if a couple managed to get stopped outside of Pagosa. I guess that it pays to be a little slower.

It would have been great to have you along, Jim and Kristen are doing well. Do ya work on Tuesday nights? If not come to bike night at Fudruckers, I'm going to be in abq all day while they do the 12K service on my bike. So I'll likely head over there at 7. I saw a picture of Colin there last week. I see about getting them all to come, we can have a mini reunion, just with the ones that we like. |

Hello NM riders, I would like to ride down to your Taos Rally in Aug. We have our Altitude Riders (Colorado Springs CO) meeting tonight and I will bring it up to the group to see if I can get anyone from here in Colorado Springs to ride down with me. We have about 20 Buell riders but doubt that many would come down. If we get three or more I would be happy. If this is a closed event to just you club let me know. I don't want to tread on your turf. I see that you have some rooms at the Sagebrush (I am not sure where that is) but I do not want to take up rooms you will need for your members. Can someone provide alternatives. Also, maybe we can hook up with the Denver crowd on the way down. Thanks for your time. Frank (XB12R) f_skinner@yahoo.com |

Frank, You are welcome to come on down, the more the better. The Sagebrush is a local hotel on the south end of Taos. I'm sure that they will have plenty of rooms for everyone. I live close enough that I'm not going to stay there but ride in. Look forward to meeting you. |
