So is this Saturday canceled for a Sunday ride or are we doing a Pre-ride of St. Helen's this Saturday? I am up for a Saturday ride. If it's Sunday I can only hang with until about 10:30, but I can meet up early in the morning in Vancouver either day. |

I think I'm good for either day as well. I'll have to think of a good place to meet if you want to try St. Hellens. I don't have a place like Gators that I'm aware of. If people want to go north this weekend, let me know and I'll look for a good meeting place after work and post it Friday evening unless someone already has something in mind. It doesn't really matter to me. I'll go whatever way people want... north, east, south or west. I just want to ride. Now, if I could just get Kevin to get my pipe done... |

So, I was just reading about this whole SPLASH thing. Anybody done/doing this event? Sounds pretty big. |

Never done it. I wouldn't be able to stay the night but it might be fun to meet up with them Saturday morning and ride for the day. |

Activity and longevity here warrants moving this fine board's link towards the top of the list on the main Storm Fronts page. If y'all have any requests for information that you'd like presented atop the page here, please let me know. Just a heads-up so you don't miss seeing the link when it moves to the top with all the other more active Storm Fronts boards. Thanks and ride, lean, smile, live! Blake PS: Swede, what a wonderful photo of your daughter and doggie playing together! That's wall worthy for sure. Glad I stopped in and got to see it. |

Thank you Blake. By the way that area that is seen the pictures will not look the same again. The whole area along with 70,000 other acres is now on fire with 1200 fire fighter fighting it off. My mom just emailed me the news yesterday. The fire is now 14 miles from her home. This all started happening from the lightning storms about a week after we got back for the camping trip. |

Jim, since no one has posted that they plan on riding go ahead and post a place in Vancouver and I will be there tomorrow morning if you want to go for a ride. If not, thats OK. I just don't want to ride to Gators and have no one show up for a third time. Maybe we should re-think the meet to every other Saturday. And all other rides can just be when ever a few of us have time to get together. What's everyone think? |

I'm kind of surprised that no one has posted anything since earlier this week about riding this weekend. Anyway, Aron, if you really want to come up here do you still want to meet at 7 or would you like to make it a little later. Doesn't matter to me. There is a Shari's just off I-205 at Mill Plain if you still want to do some kind of breakfast thing. I'd be o.k. with that personally. I don't have any other plans for Sat. until that night, so start time isn't really critical. I know a couple local guys here that might like to meet up, too. They aren't Buell riders, but I don't care. Let me know what you think. Jim |

Jim ,that sounds cool. Go ahead and invite them. I have no issues riding with foreign bikes.. Lets make it 8:00 because it will take me a good 45 min + to get there. I will need to be home by 1:30 - 2:00. But that gives me a good 4-5 hours. Do I turn right or left on Mill plain? |

Rock on! PBR gains premium status. Congrats to you frequent posters (Paul, did you start this group?)... I've been pretty distracted down here in So-Lame, no real XB riding yet this season! And not nearly enough miles on the Beemer YTD. How's the unofficial Buell group up in PDX? Folks show up for the monthly meetings at the Ram? One of these days I'll actually get up there for a weekend ride with you all! Mark Salem |

Hey Mark, you need to get back up her for a ride. After this weekend I will be ready for my 10k service. And i thought I would be saving money riding a bike... |

Aron, Heading north on 205 you'll go right (east) on Mill Plain. Stay in right lane and you'll see it at the first light after you get on Mill Plain. (south east corner of intersection) Turn right at that light, Chkalov Dr., and then left at the next light into Cascade Park Plaza. Address is; 305 SE Chkalov Dr. Anyone else that's interested, please show up. I know it isn't Gators, but at least it's easy to find. See you there at 8. Jim |

After reading the first post when a St. Helens ride was mentioned I noticed he phrased it as a 3rd sunday ride. Buell Club is the 3rd tuesday and a ride is talked about for the following Sunday(4th). In other words next sunday Buell Club may be trying to go to St. Helens. If you guys find a good route pass it along or come ride again and show us. Aron, if you need the service book for your 10k give me holler, I'll check to see what it says about the forks. Thank you Blake for giving us a spot to meet other Buellers. Graham, nice upgrade, more gas and no paint bubbles. See ya at Buell Club. |

Philip, I have the service manual. Thanks though. Only 72 miles to go to the 10K mark. Sounds pretty easy. I will probably do it next weekended. I have the triple tree attachment on order for my front stand. You are also probably right about the Buell Riders group. I am usually not even thinking of that ride since its so seldom and on Sundays. Sundays is the only day both my wife and I have off together. I rode 6 hours today, 4 of which was around the St. Helen's area with Jim and Jeremy. Very nice until you hit traffic. I would suggest early rides. If you guys plan one with Roc and the Buell Club. You might be stuck in 25-35 mph traffic if they leave at their standard 10:00 time out of paradise. We headed out 8:45 form Mill plain after breakfast and traffic started to build up by 10:00 - 10;30. Until then almost no cars and awesome roads. I am sure there are other routes that may have less traffic but I cant answer to that. Jim, thanks for showing me some of the WA scenic routes.

If you are working on the bike later in the day(6-8) and need an extra set of hands let me know. Why did you take a picture of the Buells next to a short bus? |

Today was pretty good except for all that traffic on the way home. Never seen it like that before. Sorry about that Aron. Think I'm gonna work on a different route, but probably won't get around to it until at least next weekend as I will be out of town all week. Short bus... that's pretty funny. Too bad my buses didn't handle like that one when I was in school. |

Hey all! Work SUX. NUff Said. Thank's to Blake for moving us up in stature! (Yeah, I sort of started PBR, but The Sweed is definetly our most active poster and was on the thread 24 hours after I opened it!) Anyone have an Idea for a graphic? I have a conflict tonight at 7, but may still try and make the Ram, honestly depends on the weather. I got the new GPS (Need a better mount, but it does function even if it's ugly) So planing destinations, avaiding idiot parades in cagers etc will be easier. I'd love to do St. HEllens this weekend, but I find if we take a bit more tiem and publish long in advance a lot more will show. May I suggest we (Assuming anyone makes it to the Ram tonight) suggest Aug 19th for the St. HEllens ride? That gives us a month to get a great route locked in and Roc tiem to get an email out to his group. Thoughts? |

Hey guys, At Roc's meet we didn't get to Sunday's ride discussion before I had to bail out, work called. Nice to meet Roc, Phillip and Larry. Good to see Graham again. I REALLY want to ride something Saturday and am going to do my best to make the Sunday ride. Been working alot lately, need some stress relief. Cord |

Cord, I proposed doing the 224 Hwy down to Detroit Lake for a ride. We are still open to alternate routes, just bring a map Sunday morning and we can discuss it over pancakes. Paul, I was thinking the logo could resemble a Buell MC or Pegasus as a bucking bull because of the PBR moniker being the same as the Professional Bull Riders. http://www.pbrnow.com/home.cfm#home |

detroit lake sounds good to me, but majority rules and clarity and pancakes come hand in hand... ...does that even make sense? as far as a PBR(portland buell rider)logo, the first thing that popped into my mind, as a brewer, was Pabst Blue Ribbon, now i am very familiar with the Professional Bull Riding organization so I propose a combination of the three famous PBR's, a blue ribbon(much like the logo for Pabst) as a background and the bucking pegasus overlayed on top of that all in the great red white and blue color scheme |
